REPORT: RHOA Cast is Worried About Being Fired as Ratings Plummet and Fans Call for Nene and Porsha's Returns, Plus Live Viewing Thread

The cast of The Real Housewives of Atlanta is reportedly shaking in their boots as the ratings on season 15 continue to drop, and fans on Twitter call for the returns of their former castmates, including Nene Leakes, Porsha Williams, and Phaedra Parks.

As the ratings see decreases week-to-week following the season premiere on May 7, which saw 834,000 viewers tuning in, with 0.28 of the key demo, an insider claims the ladies of the show, including Kandi Burrusss, Sheree Whitfield, Kenya Moore, Drew Sidora, Marlo Hampton, and Sanya Richards-Ross, fear they’ll be replaced.

“They are worried Bravo will pull a recast on them as they did to the cast of the Real Housewives of New York,” an insider told Radar Online on June 1. “None of them feel safe, even Kandi.”

Following the premiere episode last month, the next week saw a drop to 738,000 viewers; by May 28, that number was down to 657,000. Meanwhile, the 14th season averaged around 950,000 viewers per episode, and the 13th season captured about 1.25 million viewers each week, and back in 2014, when season seven was airing with Nene, an average of 3 million viewers were tuned in.

While friends Monyetta Shaw-Carter and Courtney Rhodes are also appearing on season 15 of RHOA, that doesn’t seem to be enough for viewers who have taken to Twitter to express their frustrations in the currently airing season.

“It needs to be said that RHOA is suffering without Porsha and Nene. These new cast members just don’t cut it, and Kenya can’t carry the show on her own,” one person stated.

“Atlanta is just too heavy. Can we lighten it up?” asked another. “The arguments aren’t fun if nothing is balancing it out. Why can’t the show be fun? I need some Porsha or Nene energy. Heck, even [Kim Zolciak] if she actually films.”

“Bring back Porsha, Nene, [and] Phaedra,” someone else advised.

“I know it won’t happen….but the only way to save RHOA ratings is to bring back Nene, Phaedra, [and] Porsha. They can’t be replaced,” another agreed.

And in an additional tweet, another person called for the return of Cynthia Bailey.

“Also, this show is weak… we really need Nene, Porsha, Phaedra, or even Cynthia back. This cast just isn’t it, especially Sheree,” they wrote.

Live Viewing Thread – This is also the live viewing thread for tonight’s new episode of The Real Housewives of Atlanta season 15. Feel free to chat and comment below as it airs at 8/7c on Bravo.
