Amanda Frances recently shared that she and Dorit Kemsley failed to move past their heated argument during a dinner at Rachel Zoe’s residence in the latest episode of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. Despite Amanda’s attempts at reconciliation, the rift remained unresolved.

The 41-year-old newcomer reflected on their confrontation at their fellow cast member’s home, coinciding with the solemn anniversary of her twin son’s passing. Amanda described Dorit’s behavior as “very aggressive” and expressed her perception that Dorit, 49, seemed more interested in creating drama for the show rather than mending fences with her.

“We don’t recover,” Amanda revealed to Us Weekly on January 22. “The reality is, we could have.”

During Thursday night’s episode of RHOBH, Dorit confronted Amanda about comments she made regarding her discussions about Paul “PK” Kemsley, 58, and their impending divorce. Amanda, in a vulnerable moment, shared that she was “holding on by a thread,” as it marked the anniversary of her son Zion’s death, who passed away at just five days old in 2022, while his twin brother, Canaan, survived.

Despite the reveal, the discussion about their drama continued, which Amanda felt was a missed opportunity for her and Dorit.

“For me, an apology and hearing about what was going on for her and where she was in her divorce situation, and me explaining what it was to have twins and lose a child … it could have been a get to know each other moment,” Amanda ntoed. “It could have been bonding. We could have repaired. We could have recovered.”

Although Amanda tried to build a friendship with Dorit in the weeks that followed, she was unsuccessful in her efforts.

“Viewers will see me in future episodes, try very hard to just sit down with her and work it out,” she shared. “The woman was very committed and devoted to only talking to me if it could be a loud dinner table spectacle kind of thing.”

After sharing on RHOBH that Dorit had approached her in an “accusatory” manner and had a “very attacking style of energy,” Amanda doubled down.

“It felt very aggressive to me in that moment, and it felt out of nowhere. Is the average person going to consider that a verbal accosting or whatever? I don’t know, maybe not,” Amanda admitted to Us Weekly. “But I don’t know that anyone gets to tell me how to feel or experience things on that day.”

“I think the minute I told her what the day was, it should have been, ‘I’m so sorry I had no idea.’ Her thing is going to be that she didn’t know, and my thing is going to be that I told her,” she continued, adding that she should have only had to mention her late son “once.”

“It should have been, like, let’s talk about something else,” she said.
