Dorit Kemsley stepped out on Rodeo Drive to film a scene for the upcoming 15th season of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills earlier this week and was immediately accused of staging her supposed shopping spree at Hermes.

After photos of Dorit, 49, walking down the street with three shopping bags in hand, two of which said “Hermes,” were shared on Instagram, fans spoke out against her, suspecting that the bags were either empty or that their contents were returned after the scene wrapped.

“Dorit Kemsley shops ‘til she drops while filming a scene for ‘The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills’ on Rodeo Drive,” Deux Moi wrote in the caption of a post shared on Instagram on August 9, crediting Backgrid for the photos.

In the comments section of the post, many IG users referred to Dorit as “Poorit,” just as Sutton Stracke, 53, did as she targeted Dorit’s financial status amid a tense moment on season 14, and several others deemed the images “staged.”

“This is so staged, that one Hermes bag looks like it’s been through it,” one person stated. 

“So staged Stevie Wonder could see it,” another agreed.

According to a number of others, the bags Dorit, whose home was in pre-foreclosure as of 2024, was carrying looked to be “empty.”

“The bags are empty, this has got to be B-roll footage,” someone wrote, as others said, “Those bags are empty,” and noted, “Those bags look somewhat light as a feather.”

It was also alleged that the Hermes bags didn’t look new, instead appearing used.

“Those Hermes bags are so damaged – no way she has just left the store from purchasing anything,” one person shared.

A few others pointed out that Hermes uses white shopping bags to disguise its orange bags in an effort to prevent theft.

“If there was anything decent in them, Hermes would white bag the orange bags!” someone stated.

Many others signaled a future return.

“She probably returned the items as soon as the director yelled ‘CUT,’” one person explained.

“Where’s the pics of her assistant returning it all?” another wondered.

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills season 15 is expected to begin airing on Bravo sometime later this year or early next year.
