Erika Jayne put her foot down with Kathy Hilton over the weekend.
After the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills “friend” came to the comments section of her page to shade her sister, Kyle Richards, by responding to a fan who called out Kyle for allowing Erika and their castmates to come between the two of them amid season 12, Erika slammed Kathy’s behavior and advised her to handle her family matters in person.
After Erika shared a photo of herself, Lisa Rinna, and Diana Jenkins, an Instagram user threw shade at Kyle.
“So disappointing to watch [Kyle Richards] not stand up to you three women and allow you to come between her and [Kathy Hilton],” the person wrote. “I’ve never felt so let down by the horrific [behavior] and to see Kyle doing absolutely nothing about it. Very very sad. [Kathy Hilton] you are loved and wanted to by the fans and we thank you for speaking up.”
After seeing the post, Kathy ventured to the comments section of Erika’s post, where she shared a praying hands emoji and a blushing emoji with hearts.
And in response, Erika didn’t hesitate to call her out.

“Do NOT come to my page to criticize [Kyle Richards]. The season is over, handle your family problems in person and not on social media,” she demanded.
Just last week, while appearing on an episode of Teddi Mellencamp‘s podcast, Two Ts in a Pod, Kyle opened up about why she didn’t speak up for her sister at the RHOBH season 12 reunion.
“When you are hurt by somebody, it’s not always so cut and dry,” Kyle said. “I’m not subscribing to the idea that you stick with family no matter what because sometimes when you’re treated really poorly, you have to take a step back regardless of whether it’s blood or not and you have to have boundaries. If you don’t know the whole story, you can’t know why I wasn’t jumping in and not defending.”
During the same episode, Kyle reacted to Kathy saying she will not return to RHOBH if Erika and Lisa are brought back.
“Anytime a cast member has said, ‘I don’t want to do the show with so-and-so,’ that doesn’t work,” Kyle explained. “That doesn’t happen. Maybe she doesn’t realize that but that doesn’t work. By the way, the more you don’t want someone on, the more they’re gonna want them on. So that just doesn’t fly. Bravo makes up their own decisions.”
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills season 13 is expected to go into production in late January 2023.
