Fans on Reddit are convinced that Joel Kim Booster was being honest when he accused Shannon Beador of treating the Love Hotel crew as “subhuman.”

Months after the 37-year-old host of the Peacock reality series called out the 61-year-old Real Housewives of Orange County star on Instagram in a since-deleted post, an insider has revealed that Shannon was allegedly “chastised” by executives of the Bravo RHOC reality series for “unacceptable” behavior, both on screen and behind-the-scenes.

“[Shannon] had to be told to cool it more than once. To take her anger out on the problem or even the cast, not the people just doing their jobs,” an insider told The U.S. Sun on July 25. “Production had to step in and have a word with Shannon about the way she can speak to the filming crew sometimes.”

During last week’s episode of RHOC, Shannon was seen fighting with Katie Ginella, 41, at Heather Dubrow‘s birthday party after learning she’d taken a secret recording of her. And after the filmed argument, which ended with Shannon telling Katie she was “done,” she allegedly took out her lingering aggression on the crew.

“When emotions get heated, Shannon lets her anger get the best of her and she takes it out on those around her and not necessarily the source of her anger, which in this particular case would be Katie,” the source continued. “When she’s not angry, Shannon is very kind and caring to production and the crew. But in the moment when things are tense, the claws come out, and anyone in her path could be impacted.”

“It’s not the first time she’s been called out for speaking more aggressively with staffers. It’s also not the first show this has come up on,” they added. “Obviously there’s Love Hotel gate.”

As fans will recall, Joel lashed out against Shannon in October, slamming her as a “pathetic drunk.”

”Just because you’re a pathetic drunk on a reality show best known for a string of failed relationships and a DUI does not make you a star. And does not give you license to treat the people you work with like they are subhuman. Period,” he had written, later deleting the post and apologizing.

A short time later, Shannon addressed the matter during an improv show with Vicki Gunvalson, 63.

“It’s very unprofessional. What I’m sad about is I did do some kind things on the show and people said I’m kind. So it’s hard for me to walk away from an experience that I really enjoyed and to have that damper on it,” she told her audience at the time. 

Shannon continued, “I don’t know where it came from. And I really don’t know what it’s about because the night before the wrap party, he had tears in his eyes and said ‘I’m so happy for you … It’s really going to look silly for him because he had nothing but love for me the entire show.”

Following the sharing of the claims against Shannon, fans on Reddit proclaimed, “Joel Kim vindicated!” and “Justice for Joel!”

“Shannon’s behavior is very troubling at times, where there is smoke; there is fire,” one person wrote. “The tantrums and yelling [are] too much so I do believe that she does this quite often towards the production crew. The allegations from Joel Kim Booster saying she treated the staff horribly and Katie’s recording of another outburst makes me [inclined] to believe this.”

“Yeah, Joel is a messy b*tch but he’s not a liar, and it’s extremely easy to imagine Shannon treating filming crew like crap,” another agreed.

Others said that Joel’s claims against Shannon “[tracked]” and wondered if anyone doubted him.

Meanwhile, someone else said, “Last year, this sub collectively had their fingers in their ears and said Joel was lying when he said Shannon treats people horribly and that she’s a nightmare to deal with.”

“Now you all believe it,” another person concluded.
