The Real Housewives of Orange County is coming back in full force! Bravo released the Season 19 trailer for RHOC, and it’s filled with comebacks, drama, and lie detectors. Former Housewife Gretchen Rossi is back with the orange in hand, proving that after all these years, she has what it takes to be a Housewife.

Season 19 follows a bumpy 18th season for the group, when former Housewives Alexis Bellino and Vicki Gunvalson rejoined the cast as friends and guests. Now, the dynamic between the women has shifted, and the trailer shows that no Housewife can be trusted.

The Trailer For Season 19 Of RHOC Is A Dark One For The Housewives

The trailer for Season 19 of The Real Housewives of Orange County starts with the Housewives getting connected to lie detectors. As the women are getting connected, Shannon Beador claims, “There’s a snake in this group.”

Truth appears to be a big theme for Season 19, with Tamra Judge saying, “No one likes a liar” before the examiner claiming, “She’s not telling the truth.” Tamra later tells Jennifer Pedranti, “She’s not the person you think she is.” The Season 19 announcement by Bravo furthered that the truth was an important part of the series in its announcement. “Set out to uncover the truth, restore trust, heal broken bonds, and everything that lies between,” the announcement read.

The trailer wasn’t all gloom and dark, however. The tempo eventually becomes upbeat as the women travel to New Orleans and Amsterdam for cast trips, according to Bravo.

• Tamra and Shannon take issue with Katie, even going so far as to call her a “silent assassin.”
• Gretchen stirs the pot by alleging that Jennifer had an affair.
• Gia shared ongoing custody issues with her fiancé’s ex-wife.
• Emily’s biggest problem in the season appears to be issues with her son. The Housewife is seen telling her husband that her son is having a crisis.

The Real Housewives of Orange County have had uplifting and lighter seasons in the past, but it doesn’t appear that Season 19 will be lighthearted with the amount of finger-pointing in the official trailer.

The trailer takes a nose dive into the negatives when the ongoing battle between Gretchen, Slade, and Tamra comes back around, and the theme of “truth” is continued. Even the polygraph examiner said, “She’s so full of s***,” although it’s unknown to whom she is referring.

For now, it’s safe to assume that no Housewife in the OC is safe.

What Has The Cast Of RHOC Said About The Upcoming Season?

The Season 19 cast of The Real Housewives of Orange County has given small tidbits about the new season. It’s rumored that Katie Ginella is behind a lot of the rumors and lies spread in the Season 19 trailer.

A source told OK! Magazine that Katie Ginella “Wanted to go on the trip, but she was not allowed to. Let’s just say her future on RHOC is not looking bright.” The source defended Katie despite allegedly getting the villain edit this season. The source shared, “They absolutely tried to villainize Katie this season. … It’s been brutal.”

While Katie may have a hard season, Shannon has boasted about coming out on top and having an amazing year compared to Season 18. Shannon to US Weekly, “I look at where I am today, after a year, and I thought I was in a hole that I could not get out of, and it’s possible because I am, probably, in one of the best places that I’ve ever been.“ The mother of three continued, “I’m so grateful to those close to me that have supported me and the fans that have supported me.”

On Watch What Happens Live, Shannon boasted about the season’s drama. “I will tell you there is so much drama in this season, but it’s stuff that you wouldn’t even script.”

While Shannon appears to be in a better place than years prior, her issues with Tamra appear to be ongoing. In April 2025, it was rumored Tamra left the show after drama in the 19th season became too heavy. Shannon told E! News, “I don’t really want to comment on Tamra’s future [on RHOC]. She continued, “We’re at a place right now where we just exist. So, I don’t really know everything that’s going on with her. I wish her well.”

One of the aspects to Shannon and Tamra’s feud could be that Shannon and Tamra’s nemesis, Gretchen, became friendly. Shannon told E! how “sweet” Gretchen and Slade were, and that she thought Gretchen “was a great addition to the show.”

With endless drama, years-long feuds, and former faces making a revival, Season 19 could be one of the best seasons yet.
