As anticipation builds for the upcoming 15th season of The Real Housewives of New Jersey, an insider has shared exclusive insights with Reality Blurb on what fans can expect. Filming is set to commence soon, promising fresh drama and excitement.

EXCLUSIVE: Insider Claims RHONJ Season 15 Will Be “The Teresa Show” as Newbies Don’t Have “Authentic Connections” to OGs

The source revealed, “The lead producer of the series is firmly in ‘Team Teresa Giudice.’ In fact, he used to be Teresa’s producer in earlier seasons.” This insider emphasized that the new season will spotlight Teresa, focusing heavily on her storyline.

“It’s going to feel like the Teresa show,” the source added, highlighting that much of the narrative will revolve around Teresa and her daughter, Gia, who is in the process of launching her own restaurant.

With the departure of Margaret Josephs from the cast, the insider expressed surprise at the production’s decision not to explore different creative directions for the show.

With Margaret Josephs exiting the show, the source questioned why production didn’t go another route.

“It would have made sense to give Teresa a spin-off show,” they stated. “She has legions of dedicated fans who, of course, would have watched her on her own program. Then they could have kept Margaret, Dolores, and Melissa on RHONJ.”

The insider pointed out an issue with the current cast of RHONJ, suggesting there may be no authentic drama because the new cast members don’t have any authentic connection to Dolores, Teresa, or Melissa.

“It’s going to be a situation like Amber Marchese and the twins,” they said, referring to the sixth season of RHONJ when three newbies from South Jersey were brought on.  “It’s not going to work out, and the show will be a bomb.”

While the source did claim they felt Amber should have been given a second season, as she “was a good Housewife,” she unfortunately wasn’t, and, if things don’t go well this season, the same thing could happen.

“Even if the new girls fight, who cares?” they asked. “We don’t know them”

The insider also pointed out that the new women could potentially fight with Teresa, but feared viewers may not be engaged in that either.

“They’re so much younger, and it doesn’t seem authentic,” they added.

After season six, RHONJ ended up bringing back a familiar face in Jacqueline Laurita and, if things don’t go well this season, they may need to bring back people who fans are already invested in.

As Reality Blurb confirmed, Xiomara Laracuente, Juliette CollazoNatia RufoloVanessa Barrera, and Deeba Patel are the new women expected to join Teresa, Dolores, and Melissa for the new RHONJ season.

“This is definitely the cast for next season,” a source previously shared.

They did point out, though, that there are some concerns, as the women “have no connection” with one another aside from Xiomara and Juliette, who are sisters.

“It’s very much like when The Real Housewives of New York City did their rebrand,” they noted. “No one has authentic connections.”

They also alleged the casting decisions were “very random.”
