“I’d rather be boring than break up the marriage of a man with eight children.” That was boring old Erin delivering a serious parting shot. The Passover Seder continues on this episode of The Real Housewives of New York City, but the real event is the escalating clash between Erin and Hailey.
Hailey is exhausted by the rumors surrounding her past dating life and insists the public created a completely false narrative about her. After calling Erin a “piece of sh*t,” Hailey hears Erin argue that the magazine covers Hailey displayed suggest she could not have been as traumatized by the experience as she claims.
Hailey fires back with an FU and labels Erin a “lying a*s snake.” She tells Erin to watch her back and accuses her of constantly playing the victim while spreading lies about other people. Carole tries to explain to Erin that the dispute is not comparable to their own conflict, but Hailey storms out, leaving Daisy, the host, in an extremely awkward position.
Sai follows Hailey outside and tells her she was right to defend herself. Erin says she feels bad that Hailey is upset, though she argues the confrontation might never have happened if Hailey had not discussed her behind her back. Sai recognizes that Hailey is still dealing with trauma from her past and encourages her not to let anyone take away the activities she enjoys.
Carole also takes time to resolve some tension with Jessel, admitting that Jessel’s Love Story comments have been difficult for her. She explains that the summer has been deeply painful and reminds Jessel that Carolyn Bessette represented far more than clothing or an aesthetic. Carole describes Jessel’s behavior as “ding bat vibes,” rather than “mean, b*tchy vibes,” and ends the conversation with one firm request: Jessel should never bring up the Kennedy curse again.
The women barely finish one argument before moving on to the next. Jessel denies mocking Daisy’s apartment, saying she believed they were all laughing together. Daisy, however, felt judged when the group criticized her popcorn ceilings. She points out that she and her family have lived in the rent-stabilized apartment for more than 20 years, adding that she can live with the ceilings—and the bargain rent.
Sai tells Daisy that she works incredibly hard to afford the amenities in her own home. Daisy estimates Sai’s rent at roughly $25,000 a month, which Sai finds outrageous. Sai questions why her living situation keeps becoming a group topic and says Daisy is always offering unsolicited advice. Ultimately, Sai insists she is happy with where she lives and wants the discussion to end there.
Erika raises a glass and invites the women to her private island for a girls-only getaway—one that, she assures everyone, would never feature popcorn ceilings. As the group prepares to leave, Hailey declares it the worst Seder in history.

Carole’s passion for theater has led her to join an off-Broadway theater group, which is preparing a fundraising gala. Naturally, she invited $Erika$,. Unfortunately, Erika cannot attend because Anne Hathaway has asked her to attend the Devil Wears Prada premiere. A glamorous conflict, certainly—but it leaves Carole wondering what to do with the rest of the guests she invited.
Sai spends time with her aunt, who jokes that Sai is essentially her fifth child. Her aunt offers blunt advice about Sai’s marriage, observing that she has never seen much affection between Sai and her husband. Sai would prefer a divorce but is taking gradual steps toward that decision. She has not yet discussed the situation with her children, but says she knew the relationship was beyond repair after discovering that her husband charged her birthday dinner to her own credit card.
The emotional distance in Sai’s marriage has become especially painful since her mother’s death. During one vacation, Sai’s mother stayed at the family home and, while drunk, caused extensive damage. She failed to let the dog outside, painted the walls and wrecked the house. The incident ultimately led to her mother entering a shelter, and her death three months later left Sai overwhelmed by guilt. David and Sai never addressed what happened, reinforcing Sai’s belief that her husband is not truly her partner.
Meanwhile, Jesse presses her husband for answers about his secretive work situation. Carrying the household on one income has placed significant pressure on Jessel, who believes he needs a serious reality check.
Hailey escapes the city for the suburbs, where she visits her mother and spends time bird-watching. She describes Erin as a bully and says Erin deliberately hurt her. Hailey makes clear that revisiting the past still causes pain, although her mother eventually manages to redirect the conversation back to herself. Classic.
Hailey says her mother was close friends with Jon and encouraged her to date him. Wanting to make her mother proud, Hailey went along with it, even though she believes the relationship cost her much of her twenties. She says she ultimately had to heal on her own because the entire situation had been orchestrated by her mother.
Later, Martha and her publicist meet with Daisy to review the upcoming schedule. Martha expects Daisy to accompany her everywhere and becomes frustrated when Daisy is not constantly available. Spending time with Martha has also given Daisy a taste for luxury—despite maintaining a popcorn-ceiling budget.
Carole’s theater gala finally arrives, and Hailey makes a point of acting as though Erin is invisible. She refuses even to say hello, but the arrival of a cheerful Jennifer Tilly—and her “banjos”—breaks up the tension.
Jessel arrives as the gala gets underway, but the peace does not last. When Hailey sits beside Erin, the argument resumes in hushed but unmistakable whispers. Hailey still cannot understand how Erin could have treated her that way, and the two continue bickering until they are repeatedly shushed during the auction. Hailey reveals that the events of her twenties once drove her close to taking her own life. After several reminders to be quiet—and a discussion about “conflict, resolution”—the pair agree to put the drama behind them. For now.
