Sai De Silva has criticized Daisy Toye following last week’s episode of Real Housewives of New York City, describing their friendship as “one-sided” and later branding Daisy “diabolical” in a social media post.
Before turning her attention to Daisy, 46, over remarks about Erin Lichy, 39, and the alleged spread of a rumor concerning the sexuality of Jessel Taank’s husband, Pavit Randhawa, 46, Sai said Daisy expected more from their friendship than she was willing to give in return.
“I was always at her house. She never wants to come to my house, though, which really irritated me,” Sai, 45, said during the October 13 episode of RHONY: After Show. Recalling a recent invitation from Daisy to meet at her home with mutual friends, Sai questioned why the group could not instead visit her own house, complete with a downstairs sauna and pool. “There’s something about it like she feels very uncomfortable in other places. Like, she likes to control the situation,” she added.
Sai went on to accuse Daisy of being “kind of very selfish,” arguing that Daisy requested things from her without offering the same consideration in return.
Daisy, meanwhile, acknowledged that Sai’s home is “beautiful” but said she is “too lazy” to make the trip.
“It’s three blocks too far,” Daisy explained, adding that her apartment is cozy and that she hosts differently because she enjoys cooking.
Sai said she has grown tired of gatherings being focused on Daisy’s home, Daisy’s cooking and what Daisy wants her son to do with Sai’s son.
“After a while,” Sai said, “I’m like, it’s just a very one-sided friendship, and I’m over it.”
When Jessel asked whether Sai simply did not want to spend time beneath popcorn ceilings, Sai answered plainly: “I don’t.”
She then mocked Daisy’s apartment, declaring, “I don’t want to wash my panties in her washing machine that’s right next to her oven.”
Sai also suggested that Daisy finds fault with other people’s homes, regardless of how they compare with her own.
“For whatever reason, when she leaves her little sh*tty apartment and goes to anyone else’s home that’s better than hers, it’s not good enough for her. I don’t understand the mentality or where it’s coming from,” Sai said.
She maintained that the other women were not judging Daisy’s apartment and accused Daisy of projecting her own insecurities onto them.

“She brought [the popcorn ceiling] to the table, so then she’s upset when we repeat it? She puts that insecurity onto everyone else,” Sai claimed.
During the same RHONY: After Show episode, Daisy admitted that she often makes self-deprecating comments about her apartment’s ceilings.
“It’s kind of like my joke and I can talk about it. I don’t care that much… it is kind of an eyesore, but it’s okay,” she said. Daisy added that removing the ceilings would require her to move out, which she does not want to do.
In a separate October 15 interview with Page Six’s Virtual Reali-Tea, Daisy addressed the allegations involving Pavit and insisted that Erin did not want the subject discussed on the show.
“Erin did not want that to go public. She did everything. I don’t know if you’re gonna see it in another episode, but Erin kept saying, ‘Don’t fall for the bait. Do not fall for the bait.’ She did not want the cameras to catch that at all,” Daisy said.
According to Daisy, the information got out because Erin and Sai had engaged in a discussion about the false claim during a dinner date.
“I’ve told Sai some sh*t. Like, now I’m scared that she’s gonna hold that against me. Like, she knows sh*t about me. I know sh*t about her. Like, I would never. I don’t give a f*ck how bad we fight. Your secrets are safe with me, till the end,” Daisy continued.
Then, after being asked about Sai’s retelling of the dinner conversation, which downplayed her involvement, Daisy said she “would never call [her] makeup artist when cameras are rolling and spread that rumor.”
“Save it for when everybody is off-duty,” she advised.
After seeing how Daisy defended Erin while throwing her under the bus, Sai spoke out in a comment.
“Were you at the dinner? Imagine riding for someone you just met while burning your actual friend. Diabolical,” she wrote, tagging Daisy.
