Angel Massie has spoken out about Dr. Wendy Osefo‘s current legal troubles, offering her perspective on what she calls a “miserable situation.” She also took a jab at Gizelle Bryant for being “messy” and elaborated on her ongoing conflicts with Ashley Darby on the popular show, Real Housewives of Potomac.

Back in October, Wendy and her husband, Eddie Osefo, were arrested on charges of insurance fraud. The couple allegedly staged a fake burglary at their home. Angel has had a contentious relationship with Wendy in the latest season, which was filmed before the arrests took place. Tensions rose when Wendy, along with Ashley and Gizelle, seemingly turned against Angel after she announced her move to Colorado, hinting that she was leaving due to an eviction.
During an appearance on Virtual Reali-Tea, Angel was questioned about her thoughts on Wendy’s situation.
“I’m not one to take pleasure in another’s misfortune. Let’s be honest, this is a tough situation,” Angel stated. “It would be for anyone. However, I haven’t reached out to her. We don’t have that kind of relationship. I feel justified and vindicated now that I’m seeing the entire show play out.”
“I am not one to revel in someone’s misery. And let’s be clear, this is a miserable situation,” she said. “It would be for anybody. But I have not reached out to her. We do not have that relationship. And I feel justified and vindicated in that, in that now I’m seeing the whole show.”
“She has liked to take this storyline and narrative that I think about her a lot, and I talk about her a lot,” she continued. “At the top of the season, she said, ‘No, I don’t know her.’ But back in 2015, when my mom passed away, she was DMing me about her father, her stepfather passing away, and how we had those commonalities. So do you know me or do you not know me? I don’t feel offended [by either]. Let’s just tell the truth.”
Angel was then asked why she thinks Wendy pretended not to know her.
“I think that sometimes women who are narcissistic think that saying they don’t know someone gives them some type of hierarchical power,” she answered. “It’s just a way to punch down … ‘I don’t know her, I don’t know her.’ But you know, she does. … I was taken aback.”
At one point, she shared her “superlatives” for the cast.
She called Gizelle “messy,” Ashley “uncouth,” Wendy “fake elitist,” Stacey Rusch “quirky and kind,” Monique Samuels “grounded,” Tia Glover “funny,” and Keiarna Stewart “wonderful.”
Later on, Angel reacted to Ashley’s recent “BS.”
“I shot and hung out with Ashley a lot on camera and got to know her over the season, and she never had anything negative to say to me about me,” said Angel. “And so seeing her back this past weekend, talking all the BS, it was really shocking, and I think that I didn’t realize that she was this person until the whole Potomac and Ponies thing. And so you see me sitting there kind of smiling like, girl, are you kidding me? I just text you. We just talked. Like, it came out of nowhere. I think that she’s fighting for her spot. I think that she thinks that I’m an easy target because I was kind to her.”
According to Angel, she gave a pink and black tool set to Ashley before the pride float as a gift so they could build their relationship.
“So you can understand from my perspective when something like this comes out of left field — and it’s a lie on top of it all — you know how hurtful it actually can be,” she said.
