Gizelle Bryant has been a prominent fixture on The Real Housewives of Potomac since its inception in January 2016. However, some fans believe she’s not revealing enough of her personal life on the show.

As the curtain falls on season 10, the 55-year-old reality star faces criticism for not delving into her private affairs, such as her romantic relationships and family issues, on camera. Fans have also directed their discontent toward Andy Cohen, 57, and the show’s producers.
“Gizelle is involved with a football player, previously dated a congressman, and was embroiled in a will dispute with her stepmother, yet none of this was captured on the show. Meanwhile, Andy just laughs it off and moves on. [Stacey Rusch]’s nonexistent relationship with [Chris Samuels] took the spotlight instead,” a fan expressed on X, with the comment later shared by Everything Housewives on Instagram.
In response to these remarks, audiences have shared their views, with many urging Gizelle to open up more, while others defend her choice to keep certain aspects of her life private.
Following the fan’s message, others weighed in, many agreeing that Gizelle should show more, and others felt she had a right to be selective about what she shares with the cameras.
“Gizelle wanna be private on a reality show. Girl bye,” one person declared.
“I mean when it comes to [Gizelle Bryant] I get [if] you wanna be able to keep [some things] private … ‘But she’s on a reality show blah blah blah’ [tv] show or not they are still humans with family and not EVERYTHING needs to be discussed for a storyline,” stated another. “Gizelle isn’t [Ashley Darby] who is literally banging her friends’ kids, doing drag, playing with Josh’s heart and being a [disaster] for the cameras.”
After targeting Ashley’s season 10 behavior, the second fan alleged that Gizelle “had more going on” than Ashley, Angel Massie, and Keiarna Stewart.
“Gizelle don’t need that … even without hearing the congressman and her dad’s will … Gizelle [is] the [Queen],” they insisted.
Meanwhile, in another post, a third fan questioned production.
“Andy and production is bias. Show the viewers fake narratives while the reality IS hidden,” they alleged.
And another agreed, noting that Gizelle wasn’t pressured to showcase certain parts of her life in the way that other cast members were.
“Obviously this show lets [Gizelle] get away with not showing her life. So between Angel and [Gizelle], who do you think will actually think they will get a good edit[?]” they asked. “Same person it’s always been. [Monique Samuels] binder reunion, Monique said she revealed more, but it was edited down in favor of Gizzy.”
Other commenters on the post said that “Gizelle brings nothing to the show” and suggested that both she and Ashley “need to be replaced.”
“[Gizelle] nor Ashley have had any storyline for seasons now ….. why are they there?” another asked.
The Real Housewives of Potomac season 10 concludes Sunday, March 1, with part three of the reunion at 8/7c on Bravo.
