Bronwyn Newport recently opened up about her relationship status with her estranged husband, Todd Bradley, amidst their ongoing separation.

In the days leading up to Christmas, the 40-year-old star of Real Housewives of Salt Lake City shared several photos on Instagram, sparking curiosity among fans about her decision to feature Todd in her festive post. Bronwyn took the opportunity to clarify their current relationship dynamics.

“My ghosts of Christmas past all wear couture, costumes, headpieces, and matching PJs! Merry almost Christmas!” Bronwyn captioned her December 24 post. The photos offered fans a glimpse into her stylish past holiday celebrations over the years.

The post not only showcased Bronwyn’s fashion but also included a variety of family pictures, with many prominently featuring Todd.

In addition to showing off her looks, Bronwyn included family photos, many of which featured Todd.

Following the sharing of the post, a fan asked about Bronwyn’s decision to include Todd.

“Am I the only one confused as to why that cherry thief is being showcased here?” they wondered.

“These are all old photos and T has been a big part of my life, including holidays! We will always want the best for each other and remember our time together happily!” Bronwyn replied.

Bronwyn and Todd’s breakup was confirmed on December 12 with a statement from her rep.

“After thoughtful consideration, Bronwyn Newport and Todd Bradley have separated,” the rep told PEOPLE. “This was a mutual decision made with care and respect for one another. They ask for privacy during this time.”

A short time later, during an episode of Watch What Happens Live, Bronwyn’s co-star, Meredith Marks, 54, reacted to the news, telling Bronwyn to “do whatever works for [her].”

“After what happened not this season but last season on the boat, and me coming under fire for trying to be supportive of her, and somehow it was spun into me supporting Todd, which was never the case, I have no comment on her marriage,” she explained. “That’s why I didn’t comment on her marriage at all this season. I made a decision, if she wanted to spin my conversation trying to help her into something negative, I made a choice after that that I would not be involved in her marriage at any level. I can support her, but I did not comment on her marriage. I won’t ever do that again.”

On the same episode, Andy Cohen, 57, confirmed Bronwyn and Todd’s split would be a featured topic on the upcoming reunion.

“This is something we discussed at length,” Andy noted.
