In a startling event on Sunday, a 30-year-old woman was taken into custody after allegedly discharging a firearm at Rihanna’s luxurious Beverly Hills residence. The pop star was reportedly present inside her home at the time of the incident.
The Los Angeles Police Department swiftly responded to reports of the shooting, arriving at the scene at approximately 1:21 p.m., as confirmed by a spokesperson to the California Post. Disturbingly, one of the bullets managed to penetrate a wall of the mansion.
Uncertainty lingers around whether Rihanna’s partner, the renowned rapper A$AP Rocky, and their children—RZA, aged 3, Riot Rose, aged 2, and the infant Rocki Irish Mayers, just 5 months old—were inside the house when the shots were fired.
Fortunately, no injuries were reported in the incident. Los Angeles Police Department spokesperson, Sgt. Jonathan de Vera, conveyed this reassurance to the Los Angeles Times.
Amid the chaos, a source close to the family assured the Post, stating, “They are all doing okay.” Despite the alarming circumstances, Rihanna has yet to make any public statements regarding the ordeal.
No other information, including motive for the shooting, is known at this time.
