RFK Jr. Gets Down with Diplo in Aspen

Robert F. Kennedy Jr. recently traded his focus on health care for a night out on the town, enjoying some festive downtime before the holiday season. The Health and Human Services secretary was reportedly seen at a lively après-ski event, headlined by renowned DJ and producer Diplo, held at the Snow Lodge at the St. Regis in Aspen, Colorado.

Sources have revealed that Kennedy, who is 71, has a close friendship with the 47-year-old Diplo. The two were spotted together during the concert on Saturday, surrounded by family members, creating a buzz among attendees.

Eyewitnesses noted that RFK Jr., dressed casually in ski pants and a sweater, was accompanied by U.S. Marshals. Interestingly, the Marshals blended in seamlessly with the crowd, wearing everyday clothing that made them virtually indistinguishable from other concertgoers.

A spy tells us they saw RFK Jr. — wearing ski pants and a sweater — surrounded by US Marshals who were “dressed in regular clothes and not noticeable at all.”

“He stayed about 30 minutes,” added the source.

“He was watching the concert, but wasn’t dancing. He did take selfies with people.”

While RFK Jr. stood in the crowd, we hear his daughter, Kyra Kennedy, 30, got a closer look by standing onstage.

“Kyra came down and said goodbye to him before he left,” says the spy, who tells us that Kyra stayed through the party.

Santigold made a surprise appearance during the set, and attendees included Olympic snowboard great Shaun White (recently single after his split from Nina Dobrev), Christie Brinkley’s model daughter Sailor Brinkley Cook, makeup artist Patrick Ta and influencer Tinx.

The Kennedy family have been regulars in the posh Colorado ski town during the holidays, despite the death of RFK Jr.’s brother, Michael, after a New Year’s Eve skiing accident in 1997 at 39.

RFK Jr.’s son Conor, 31, (who once dated Taylor Swift), pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor — allowing him to avoid jail time — following a 2016 bar fight in Aspen over the holidays.

(Conor claimed the other guy had hurled a homophobic insult at his friend, and wound up having to pay a $500 fine and write a letter of apology to his victim.)
