Rylee Arnold has quickly become one of the youngest professional dancers to grace the stage of Dancing With The Stars. At just 20 years old, she joined the popular reality competition in 2023, right after completing high school.

Recently, speculation has arisen among fans about Rylee’s future with the show. Amidst swirling rumors suggesting she might not return for Season 35, Rylee took the opportunity to set the record straight.

These largely baseless rumors have been circulating online, suggesting her departure from DWTS. In an open discussion with the show’s host, Julianne Hough, Rylee expressed her confusion over the origins of these rumors. She mentioned her hope that they were merely “just noise,” although acknowledging the difficulty of not being affected by the mounting pressure.

Rylee Says She Wants To Continue On The Show

Largely unfounded rumors online have been saying that Rylee will not be returning to DWTS, and, in a candid conversation with host Julianne Hough, Rylee explained she had no idea where these rumors had started. She admitted she wanted to believe they were “just noise,” but that it was hard not to let the pressure get to her.

Rylee also explained that, while she wanted to continue on as a pro on DWTS, the decision wasn’t totally up to her. She divulged to Julianne that those in charge of production had yet to confirm who the cast of the upcoming season would be:

“I’m just trying to give myself grace and know that I’m growing,” she added. “I am in my own position, and there are so many pros who have been here way longer than I have. Of course, they know more than I do, they have experience way more than I have, which is so normal.”

Rylee admitted that, given how she’s the youngest of the bunch, it was hard for her to not constantly compare herself to the more seasoned pros around her. She shared that her mindset was to simply be her best self week after week.

This season, Rylee was paired with acapella singer Scott Hoying as her celebrity partner. The two had a promising start to the season, but they were eliminated in Week 6 during “Wicked Night,” placing 10th overall in the competition. Their final performance was a contemporary dance to “The Wizard and I,” but unfortunately, it wasn’t strong enough to save them from elimination.

Rylee Says She’s Living Her Dream

When the pressure and the online rumors start to get to her, Rylee says she reminds herself that she gets to work her dream job to get her out of the funk. In the aforementioned conversation with Julianne, she noted how grateful she was to be able to perform as a DWTS pro:
