Sacha Baron Cohen and Isla Fisher have finalized their divorce more than one year after they initially announced their split.

“Our divorce has now been finalised,” the exes both shared in a statement to their Instagram Stories on Friday.

“We are proud of all we’ve achieved together and, continuing our great respect for each other, we remain friends and committed to co-parenting our wonderful children. We ask for the media to continue to respect our children’s privacy.”

Details regarding their finalized agreement remain unclear at this time.

Baron Cohen, 53, and Fisher, 49, shared that they were ending their relationship after nearly 14 years of marriage last April.

“After a long tennis match lasting over twenty years, we are finally putting our racquets down,” the two stars said in a joint statement at the time.

“In 2023 we jointly filed to end our marriage. We have always prioritized our privacy, and have been quietly working through this change.”

“We forever share in our devotion and love for our children. We sincerely appreciate your respecting our family’s wish for privacy,” the message closed.

The announcement came after Page Six learned they were living separate lives and asked for comment.

One source told us that the British actor had met Hollywood lawyers in late 2023 but the divorce documents were filed in London, where they both live.

Despite rumors that the pair had turned sour toward each other amid the breakup, an insider exclusively told Page Six in February that Baron Cohen and Fisher were still fairly chummy as they ironed out the details in the dissolution of their marriage.

“All divorces have their challenges, but things have gone pretty smoothly with Isla and Sacha,” the source shared.

“Their announcement was well coordinated and struck the right tone [with] their tennis photo, they both have made their kids a priority.”

Around the same time, Fisher opened up about the divorce in an interview with the Sunday Times, calling the experience “the most difficult thing I’ve been through.”

“I’ve learned so much about myself in the process,” she shared. “I never imagined my family being separated, but we are committed and loving parents.”

The exes first met back in 2001 and tied the knot in 2010. They share three children together: two daughters and a son.
