Sai De Silva reacted to the potential cancellation of The Real Housewives of New York City after Bravo failed to include it in its recent list of renewed series.

Following a press release on Tuesday in which The Real Housewives of New Jersey was also absent, Sai, 44, took to her Instagram Story, where she answered a fan’s question about the show possibly getting the axe and confirmed that she and the ladies are “not filming” after stepping out with several of her castmates.

“Did RHONY get canceled?” a fan asked Sai on May 7. “I’m confused lol.”

“I’m also confused by everyone being confused,” Sai replied. “I was just expressing my gratitude for my castmates who have become close friends. Nothing is canceled, I’m not leaving the show and nothing is wrong. It was purely me showing appreciation for a great group of women. It was a positive post (so I thought).”

Another fan wrote, “Girlllll please tell me you’re filming again!!”

“Nope we’re not filming. We like to [hang out] outside of the show,” Sai responded, along with a group photo of herself with her RHONY co-stars, including Racquel Chevremont, 53, Jenna Lyons, 56, Ubah Hassan, 41, Jessel Taank, 45, and Erin Lichy, 37.

Sai De Silva Confirms RHONY Cast is Not Filming After Bravo Fails to Renew Series

After wrapping RHONY season 15 earlier this year, Rebecca Minkoff, 44, announced she would not be returning to the series for its potential 16th season. And in the months that followed, a number of casting rumors were shared.

“No one in the cast has been asked back yet or been given a contract for season 16,” an insider told OK! Magazine in February.

Then, in March, as a casting notice started swirling on social media in which Shed Casting, the company that produces RHONY, wrote, “It’s that time…Come and get your apple,” it was alleged that Bravo was on the hunt for new ladies.

“It depends on who they find,” the insider explained to Us Weekly at the time. “It’s unclear on how many cast members they are looking for — and who may stay or who may go. Producers are always putting feelers out to see if they can find anyone new.”

As for Brynn Whitfield, 39, she was left out of the cast’s hangout earlier this week and seems to be at odds with the majority of the women due to her controversial finale feud with Ubah.

The Real Housewives of New York City has been on hiatus since the conclusion of its 15th season in February.
