NASCAR star Kyle Busch’s wife, Samantha Busch, is still dealing with severe hair loss amid her alopecia journey.

Samantha, 39, took to her Instagram Stories on Tuesday, June 10, to share a photo of several strands of hair stuck to what appeared to be a wet shower wall.

“It just won’t stop today,” she wrote over the image. “Feels like a year of progress and growth all fell out in the span of two weeks. Feel even more scared this time bc I’m on all the meds, supplements, have completely changed my diet, lifestyle and exercise, and out of nowhere, bam.”

Samantha clarified that she had “no other symptoms” besides the hair loss.

Brittany Mahomes Says Her Skin Is Losing Its Mind Amid Hardest Pregnancy 137

Brittany Mahomes is getting candid about her skin struggles amid her pregnancy with baby No. 3. “Good morning, just me and my skin thats [sic] losing its mind,” Mahomes, 28, captioned an unfiltered selfie via her Instagram Story on Tuesday, July 23. “This pregnancy has been the hardest on me … sickness, exhaustion and now […]

“No brain fog; fatigue, soreness. To be honest, this is the best I’ve ever felt in my life, minus my hair,” she concluded.

The blogger, who married Kyle, 40, in 2010, first discussed her hair loss on social media in early 2023.

“So my hair has been falling out significantly now for a good month. It’s not breakage but coming out at the root (I can see the little bulb still attached when it’s all over the bathroom floor),” she wrote via Facebook at the time. “I’ve had multiple blood tests done — hormones, thyroid and iron, the common ones for hair loss checked out fine. My iron, vitamin D and creatinine levels were high, but not to the point that they think it’s the cause for the sudden onset of shedding. It’s also not localized like a spot or at my part line, but is an all-over thinning.”

Samantha added that, as someone who “already had thin hair,” it pained her to watch her hair fall out. She also said that it was “unlike” the alopecia she experienced when she suffered a pregnancy loss and went through IVF. (Samantha has also been open about her fertility journey. She and Kyle now share kids Brexton, 10, and Lennix, 3.)

“I’m at a loss of what to do because my normal go-to’s aren’t lessening the shed,” she continued.

One month later, Samantha took to Instagram to share an update, revealing that she was “going to see a functional doctor and get additional levels tested.”

I am also waiting to see a dermatologist that specializes in hair based on your suggestions,” she continued. “Unfortunately, I’m not seeing any growth right now, I’m simply trying to stop the shed. I am happy to report in the last week it has stopped coming out as much, which is a huge positive, but there is a long way to go to regrow it and hopefully figure out what’s happening so it doesn’t happen again.”

Samantha shared another update with fans via Facebook in September 2024, sharing that she had started wearing wigs.

Brittany Mahomes Admits She s Really Struggling With Acne Breakouts 497

Mindy Small/Getty Images Brittany Mahomes is just like Us. Mahomes, 28, opened up about experiencing breakouts via Instagram on Tuesday, March 26. “Just here for your daily reality check 😘,” she wrote alongside a makeup-free boomerang video. “Actually really struggling with my skin right now and trying to figure out why it’s just breaking out […]

“I’ll never forget the day, two years ago, when I sat on the bathroom floor, hair scattered everywhere, wondering if I’d have to wear a wig,” she wrote. “The fear and frustration were real, and the hair loss was terrifying. Fast forward to now — I made the leap into wearing wigs and worried: Would people stare? Does it look natural? Will it come off? The journey wasn’t easy. But today? My hair is finally growing back (wild and crazy!), and guess what? I still love rocking my wigs!”

Samantha added that wigs helped her “feel more confident” amid her hair loss journey and became her “go-to for protecting my bio hair, switching up my style, and keeping things easy.”

“The growth — in my hair and in my spirit — has been the most rewarding part of it all,” she concluded. “And just like with my infertility journey, it’s been amazing connecting with others going through the same thing. We’ve vented, bonded, and shared tips. This journey has reminded me that we’re never alone.”
