There has been significant uproar on social media following the cancelation of the supernatural teen drama, “First Kill” on Netflix. The series was created for the streamer by novelist Victoria Schwab, and was released on June 10, 2022.
A few months later, the company announced that the show would not be returning to the screen for a second season. Showrunner Felicia D. Henderson provided more insight as to why Netflix made that decision. She explained that not enough viewers followed through to the very end of the eight episodes.
For most of the cast members, the news meant an end to what was their first major professional acting roles. One of these actors is Sarah Catherine Hook, who became a fan favorite playing the teenage vampire Juliette Fairmont.

According to her profile on IMDb, Sarah Catherine Hook was born on April 21, 1995 in the city of Montgomery, Alabama. Although not much is publicly established about her close family, she is at least known to have two brothers, called Forrest and George.
Their parents are Hampton and Catherine Hook, who are believed to be a businessman and homemaker respectively.

Sarah Catherine Hook and her siblings were raised in Montgomery. Since childhood, she had always been interested in the arts. After high school, she enrolled in The State University of New York at Purchase to pursue a degree in Vocal Performance: Opera.
Hook graduated from the university with her Bachelor of Music. Before that, she also started to hone her acting skills by attending the Atlantic Theater Company Summer Intensive.
As with most other people her age, Sarah Catherine Hook has a very active social media life. She has a verified Twitter account, with a bio that reads: “Hey hi be nice to me plz.” More than 19,700 people follow her on the platform, and she follows only 21.

As with many other aspects of her life, Sarah Catherine Hook’s romantic endeavors remain shrouded in mystery. Her character in “First Kill” is gay, and involved with a girl called Calliope “Cal” Burns, from a monster-hunting family.
Cal is portrayed by Imani Lewis, with whom Hook was recently rumored to be in a relationship. There has been no evidence to lend credence to that speculation, however. If her social media profiles are anything to go by, Hook is either single, or extremely secretive about her love life.
