According to a report, Scheana Shay’s casting on the next season of The Valley is a “done deal,” as the show will “explore the aftermath” of her husband Brock Davies’ affair amid Jax Taylor’s exit. Scheana also addressed her last text to Ariana Madix, and she reacted to making The New York Times Best Sellers list.

Earlier this year, Scheana revealed in her new memoir that Brock cheated on her when she was pregnant with their child. She said he had sex with the woman multiple times, and he waited years to tell her. As of now, Scheana is just a ‘friend’ on The Valley.

However, per an insider speaking to The U.S. Sun, Scheana’s casting next season is a “done deal,” as she’s apparently filling the void amid Jax’s exit.

“She is going to be in a larger role, and the show will explore the aftermath of her affair becoming public and other struggles within her marriage to Brock,” said the insider. “It helps that she is already genuinely good friends with all of them and fits in naturally with the group … Producers feel it will be good to have another Vanderpump Rules bridge after Jax left.”

“It just makes sense,” the insider added. “[Filming is] getting ready to roll right now.”

In a recent interview for The Hollywood Reporter, executive producer Alex Baskin seemed to hint at her return.

“We’re making our plans for next season,” he said at the time. “I wouldn’t say we were trying to set the stage to do anything in particular, but again, Scheana is really friends with that entire group.”

In an interview for Virtual Reali-Tea, Scheana addressed the last time she communicated with Ariana.

“[It was] when I texted her Happy Birthday, so June 24th,” she said. “It was Happy Birthday, and then [she replied] ‘thank you.’ … [I sent] a few heart emojis, a few party emojis, I think maybe I blew some confetti to her.”

She was then asked if Scheana got a birthday text from Ariana in May.

“I did,” she answered. “And I invited her to my party, I believe she was [in New York] though, at the time. I don’t know if she would have come, but she was [in NYC]. So, easy out.”

On Instagram, Scheana reacted to her book making The New York Times Best Sellers list. Sharing a screenshot of the memoir’s position in number four, Scheana wrote in the caption, “SPEECHLESS 🥹.”
