Scheana Shay revealed in her just-released memoir, My Good Side, that Ariana Madix confronted Tom Sandoval and Rachel “Raquel” Leviss about the rumors of a potential affair prior to “Scandoval” breaking in March 2023.

Although Ariana, 40, was said to have been “blindsided” when she discovered a NSFW video of Rachel, 30, on then-boyfriend Sandoval’s phone amid their nine-year relationship, Scheana, 40, noted in her book that Ariana had been alerted to swirling rumors about Sandoval’s cheating before his infidelity was made public.

“My wedding dress designer’s husband informed me that he had seen Tom and Raquel making out by the elevators,” Scheana wrote, via Showbiz Cheat Sheet. “I just assumed he meant Tom Schwartz because they’d kissed at the welcome party.”

As Vanderpump Rules fans will recall, Rachel engaged in a makeout with Schwartz, 42, while in Mexico for Scheana’s wedding to husband Brock Davies in August 2022. However, it was also around this time when her months-long affair with Sandoval, 43, began.

Although the rumor about Sandoval and Rachel ultimately got back to Ariana, Scheana said that she didn’t think anything of it. But she did express frustration with Tom and Rachel for giving people reason to believe they could be hooking up, and ultimately confronted them at a party.

“Ariana stormed outside and said, ‘I’m sick of hearing that people think there’s something going on between the two of you. Get your sh*t together and stop it,’” Scheana recalled.

In the years that followed, both Ariana and Sandoval moved on from the scandal but continued to feud over their shared home in Los Angeles, which has yet to be sold.

Although Sandoval is believed to still be living at the residence, Ariana purchased a new home in March 2024 and has been dating boyfriend Daniel Wai since April 2023. Meanwhile, Sandoval has been in a committed relationship with his girlfriend, Victoria Lee Robinson, since early 2024.

Vanderpump Rules is expected to return to Bravo for a 12th season with an all-new cast later this year or early next year.
