Scheana Shay revealed the last time she spoke to Tom Sandoval, as she claimed he “call[ed] bulls**t” on her. The Vanderpump Rules star also suggested that Tom’s relationships have changed since he began dating girlfriend Victoria Lee Robinson – as Janet Caperna reacted.

During the last season of the show, Scheana faced criticism from fans for being nice to Tom after his affair with Raquel Leviss. But as the season aired, she seemingly changed her tune and distanced herself from him again. Some fans believe Scheana changed her behavior in response to the backlash.

Speaking with Janet on the “Scheananigans” podcast, via @vanderpodrecaps on Instagram, Scheana discussed where she stands with Tom.

Janet first broached the subject: “I know how often you see and talk to Sandoval, which is mostly when he reaches out for something kind of random. Every single time you guys have any sort of conversation, he makes sure to make it public or known. Does that bother you? ’Cause I feel like it sends general hate in your direction every single time.”

Scheana answered, “The last time him and I text, a friend of mine was trying to get in touch with his team because a brand that [the friend] was working with and [directing] really wanted Sandoval for this. And [my friend] was like, how has his behavior been recently? And I was like, I don’t talk to him that much. But I’m happy to reach out to him to tell him to look out for it. And so I text him, then [Tom’s] like, I don’t know what you’re talking about.”

“And I’m like, well, there was this job, blah, blah, blah. It was a decent paying brand deal. And so I said I just wanted to make sure I put you guys in touch,” she continued. “And then he’s like, ‘I don’t know, I’m calling bulls**t, I don’t see a DM, I don’t have a text.’”

However, Scheana insisted that Tom’s team was notified, and she assumed his team had informed him about it.

“He’s accusing you of like lying about it,” said Janet.

“But then he’s like, ‘By the way, why are you always saying in interviews and stuff that we’re not friends when you text me?’” recalled Scheana. “And I’m like, quarterly would be a lot. I mean, he congratulated me on Masked Singer. I asked him how the Tyler Henry show was … [And] I’m not gonna run the other direction [when I see him], but I’m not actively being like, hey, I miss you. Come to my house for lunch and hang out with my kid.”

Janet suggested that Sandoval and his best friend Tom Schwartz “never see each other” anymore.

“Ever since he’s been in this relationship, his friendships have changed,” said Scheana, seemingly alluding to his girlfriend Victoria.
