Scheana Shay claimed she knows the real culprit behind “Real Housewives of Orange County” stars Katie Ginella and Gretchen Rossi’s Season 19 drama that she was unexpectedly dragged into.

The drama started earlier this month on Teddi Mellencamp and Tamra Judge’s podcast, “Two Ts in a Pod,” when Mellencamp and Ginella discussed the accusations that Ginella told journalist KiKi Monique about a damaging rumor involving Rossi. Mellencamp then said she heard that Shay and Rossi are close friends and that it was actually Shay who told Monique about the rumor.

Shay accused Ginella and Mellencamp of “spreading lies” about her while speaking with Page Six’s Evan Real and Danny Murphy at the “Virtual Reali-Tea” Awards Thursday.

“The truth is with Gretchen. Gretchen never said this to Katie,” Shay insisted at the show, which was sponsored by Tri-State Cadillac and Malibu. “So now for Katie to go on ‘Two Ts in a Pod,’ and go, ‘Well I heard Scheana heard this from Gretchen and told KiKi,’ I’m like, I’ve never … never heard any of this at all.”

“Gretchen has never said this,” she continued. “I’ve been friends with her for over 15 years. I think I would’ve heard this story by now, and now they’re just spreading lies about me and I have an issue with that that I address on my podcast on Friday.”

Shay said three “RHOC” cast members have reached out to her about the drama and that she now believes she knows the person to blame — Judge.

“All things point to Tamra being behind this,” she said.

“Are we shocked by that?” she continued sarcastically. “I think her and Katie are canoodling behind the scenes and trying to deflect from Katie being a pathological liar.”

She also noted, “One thing I know about Gretchen is she doesn’t lie.”

Season 9 of “RHOC” found Ginella and Rossi at odds over a rumor that Rossi had to be hospitalized after Judge’s “naked wasted” party in 2013. Monique said that it was Ginella who told her this when they had lunch in 2024.

However, Ginella denied she told Monique that Rossi was hospitalized, though admitted she had lunch with Monique.

For her part, Rossi said she never told Ginella she was hospitalized.
