Sean Kingston and his mother, Janice Turner, were found guilty in their federal wire fraud case on Friday.

The mother-son duo were convicted on all five charges they were facing after they were accused of fraudulent activity totaling more than $1 million in stolen funds from businesses, per TMZ.

The elaborate fraud scheme involved jewelry, luxury vehicles and other goods.

Upon hearing the jury’s verdict, the “Beautiful Girls” artist reportedly became emotional and teared up in the Florida courtroom.

The presiding judge deemed Kingston’s mother as a flight risk, so she remained in custody.

Kingston, however, was allowed to go home, where he has been ordered to stay until the July 11 sentencing.

The 35-year-old rapper — born Kisean Paul Anderson — reportedly told US Marshalls to “protect my mother” before she was taken out of the courtroom and into custody, the outlet reports.

Kingston and his mother were both charged with one count of conspiracy to commit wire fraud and four counts of wire fraud.

Federal prosecutors claim the pair “unjustly enriched themselves by falsely representing that they had executed bank wire or other monetary payment transfers as payment for vehicles, jewelry, and other goods purchased by the defendants” without actually having sent any funds, according to a press release from the Southern District of Florida’s U.S. Attorney’s Office.

They then kept the goods without paying the businesses for the items. They are both looking at a maximum sentence of 20 years in prison for each of the five counts.

During the trial, Turner, 61, testified that she irresponsibly handled her son’s finances and created fake wire transfers, reports  NBC 6 South Florida.

Reps for the singer did not immediately respond to Page Six’s request for comment.

As we previously reported, Kingston was arrested without incident in California on several fraud and theft charges in May 2024 after authorities raided his Florida home.

Authorities took his mother into custody when they raided his home in Florida.

Kingston responded to the raid and his mother’s arrest the following day, telling his followers, “People love negative energy!”

“I am good and so is my mother! … my lawyers are handling everything as we speak,” he wrote at the time.
