Celebrity stylist Erin Walsh swears by these ‘effortless’ essentials for a ‘lazy luxury’ look

Summer is coming in hot — and it’s time to update your wardrobe accordingly.

As temperatures skyrocket, celebrity stylist Erin Walsh — known for her work with A-listers like Anne Hathaway and Selena Gomez — tells us she’s keeping her favorite “effortless” styles on heavy rotation.

“I think the new style vibe people are leaning into after quiet luxury is lazy luxury … mixing refined separates with easy, casual ones,” explains the wardrobe whiz, who recently partnered with Cotton.

When it comes to curating those comfort-focused pieces, Walsh advises checking your clothing labels for natural fibers like cotton; “Cotton will always feel soft, breathable, and you won’t have to worry about how the fabric might affect your hormones, mood or skin,” she says.

And while you might not have Walsh on payroll, you can still shop styles cut from the same (literal) cloth as her celeb-worthy favorites. Below, the style pro shares some of her summer must-haves, from the perfect linen pants to the trendy tank top she’s never without.

“An Anine Bing tank is always in my kit; it is awesome for layering with button-downs, and I love pairing it with a suit.”

“I also love Sold Out NYC cotton tanks. They add a little element of polish … and look elevated on their own.”

“Love [layering a tank] under an oversized white cotton button-down, like this one from Sold Out NYC. “

Dôen

“I am in love with an oversized linen pant, like this one from Dôen.”

“Lean into shapes that serve how you want to feel. If you want to feel elegant, lean into something a little less body-con that offers ease and structure. A shoulder pad is always fab to make you feel empowered.”
