Selena Gomez is opening up in a brand new way — at least on social media.
On Friday, October 3, the singer and Only Murders in the Building star, 33, shared a series of behind the scenes photos via Instagram from her September 27 wedding to Benny Blanco. The carousel of images begins with a snap of a grinning Gomez wearing a veil and sunglasses while perched on a bench in a bedroom alongside a friend.
The series of photos also features Gomez writing her wedding vows and walking with Blanco, 37, on the beach. “From writing my vows to leaving my wedding a little earlier than most…” Gomez captioned the post.
The duo were surrounded by 170 of their closest friends and family during their Santa Barbara wedding last month. The festivities began the night before, on September 26, with a formal dinner held inside a tent at Hope Ranch in Santa Barbara.
Gomez brought most of the attendees to tears, a source exclusively told Us on Monday, September 29, during the ceremony.
“Everyone there was sobbing, and it was extremely emotional,” they explained. While Blanco wrote “shorter vows” than his wife, his were just as sincere. The source added, “They were still very heartfelt and sweet, and Selena bawled her eyes out.”
Blanco also found a way to work Gomez’s 12-year-old sister Gracie into the big day by giving her a coupon book she could use to cash in with the couple.
“If she needed something from them, like a day to hang out or a shopping spree, Gracie could use a coupon with them for whatever she needed,” the source explained. “It was very sweet, and everyone was crying over that, too.”

The insider added that Blanco planned most of the wedding, which included the decor. “It was very much his style and was similar to the decor in their Beverly Hills home,” the source said. “He is very into design and loved doing it.”
This helped the producer stay comfortable, they continued. “They had rugs and carpet everywhere because Benny does not like to wear shoes.”
The duo enlisted Nobu to cater their informal reception, which was set up with cocktail tables “everywhere” in lieu of a formal dinner. Dinner options included steak, sushi and fish dishes, while guests also had access to what was described as an “elaborate” ice cream bar.
The night culminated in a Jewish hora dance with full participation from the guests, including Paris Hilton and Paul Rudd. “Everyone was dancing barefoot, having the best time,” the source also said.
Gomez and Blanco announced their engagement in December 2024 after becoming romantically involved in 2023. “Forever begins now,” she captioned an Instagram post she shared on December 11. Blanco celebrated the important moment by writing in the comments, “Hey wait… that’s my wife.”
“He is my absolute everything in my heart,” Gomez previously wrote of Blanco in an Instagram post shared in December 2023. “He [has] been the best thing that’s ever happened to me. The end. … He’s still better than anyone I’ve been with. Facts.”
