Selena Gomez’s mom, Mandy Teefey, is said to be disappointed by a decision the singer and actress made for her wedding to Benny Blanco.

“Selena’s mother and her stepfather Brian were shattered she didn’t choose her mother to walk her down the aisle,” an insider told the Daily Mail of the Disney Channel alum’s nuptials on Saturday. “In a shock move she chose her grandfather David [Cornett] to give her away to Benny.”

The insider added that “David and his wife Debbie broke down in tears of joy when she asked him. Selena made the decision as soon as they started planning the wedding.”

Reps for Teefey and Gomez did not immediately return Page Six’s requests for comment on the alleged snub.

Gomez, 33, is reportedly set to exchange vows with music producer Blanco, 37, in a star-studded celebration today at a private estate in Santa Barbara, Calif., attended by Taylor Swift, among others.

Family and friends gathered Friday evening for a rehearsal dinner held at an estate in Hope Ranch in Goleta Valley, Calif. The “Only Murders in the Building” actress’s co-stars Martin Short, Paul Rudd and Steve Martin were snapped leaving their hotel for the soirée in semi-formalwear.

Gomez and Blanco’s closely-guarded nuptials reportedly include a weekend-long celebration, during which guests — with the exception of Swift, who a source told Page Six will be staying in a private rental home for security purposes — are staying at the lavish El Encanto hotel in Montecito.

“All the guests will be picked up and driven to the location without knowing their destination ahead of time,” an insider told the Sun earlier this month.

“Everyone is so excited despite the mystery, they know it will be an amazing time.”

Gomez’s BFF Swift kicked off the highly anticipated weekend by arriving under the cover of a cluster of black umbrellas at a Santa Barbara airport on Friday afternoon — with a white box in tow.

Teefey, 49, is known for her sacrifices in encouraging Gomez’s career as an actress and singer — she gave birth to the Rare Beauty founder at 16, and raised her as a single mother.

Despite the alleged snub, Gomez and Blanco admitted in a joint interview earlier this year that Teefey played a major part in her romance with her husband-to-be.

“It’s actually very difficult to figure out. I was around 16, 17,” the hitmaker told Interview Magazine in February of her age she initially met Blanco.

Blanco added, “And we first had music come out in 2013 or something. Her mom set up a meeting between the two of us. This is right when I became big and she wasn’t a singer yet.”

The two remained “pals” before their relationship turned into something more after Blanco attended the hitmaker’s 31st birthday party in 2023.

Gomez took to Instagram in December 2024 to announce her impending marriage to the musician. “forever begins now,” she captioned a carousel of photos showing off a massive marquise cut diamond sparkler.
