Shannon Beador Responds to Claims of Mistreating RHOC Crew and Holding Katie Ginella “To The Fire” When Costars Have Done “So Much Worse”

Shannon Beador responded to claims of mistreating the crew and holding Katie Ginella “to the fire” when castmates have done “so much worse.” The Real Housewives of Orange County star also hinted at future revelations against Katie.

At Heather Dubrow‘s birthday party, Shannon confronted Katie for secretly recording her during an alleged meltdown over Alexis Bellino. During the fight, she screamed at Katie and claimed she was worse than Alexis. And according to a report, she was so upset that she later took out her anger on the crew, and she was then chastised by Bravo execs.

On SiriusXM’s Jeff Lewis Live, a fan called out Shannon and the cast for holding Katie “so far up to the fire” for speaking to bloggers, which co-stars “pummeled to death,” even though castmates have done “so much worse.”

The fan added, “I mean, Tamra’s a blogger and she’s on the show, so … I don’t understand [the] litmus test of when you let things go and when you pummel it to the ground. It seems like the whole crew’s just trying to ice her out.”

Shannon then responded, “I understand why you’re saying these things, but as the show moves forward, I think that you’ll be able to understand, you know, the things that were done … The bottom line [is] there’s just barely any truth with Katie … You’re not allowed to record anybody in California without their knowledge, and she did that.”

Shannon then addressed the rumor that she “had to be subdued” following her rant against Katie on the night of Heather Dubrow’s birthday party because Shannon was “mistreating the staff.”

“It’s really frustrating when [a planted story] like that comes out, cause of course you want to defend yourself, but at the same time, I don’t want to give it life,” she said. “I was dancing right after my conversation with Katie, having fun.”

“False stories are written about me, and I read stories about other people, and I assume it’s true,” she said. “Like, it’s just natural to think that. I mean, yeah. I was upset, but … I wasn’t that upset.”

New episodes of The Real Housewives of Orange County air on Thursday nights on Bravo.
