Sheinelle Jones said it’s been “tough” returning to the “Today” show four months after her husband, Uche Ojeh, died of cancer.

The TV personality gave a glimpse inside her and her three kids — Kayin,16, and 13-year-old twins Clara and Uche — transitioning back into their daily routines on Monday’s episode of “Today With Jenna and Friends.”

“Work comes, and we get through the first week of school, the first week back to work,” she shared, describing the initial return earlier this month as “fun.”

“Friday, when we got home, it was tough. Because there was nothing for us to rally ourselves for,” Jones, 47, added.

“It was just like, ‘Oh this is it. This is life.’ Kind of sucks.”

“Saturday morning for me was tough,” the TV host continued. “Saturday is when [me and Ojeh would] look at each other and [say], ‘Oh my God what a week.’”

“It was usually like, ‘Oh my God, that interview on Tuesday, I should have said this. Or what about this?’” Jones added, saying that now her “coach” and “life partner” is gone.

“And so the days after my first week were tough because it’s like my new normal,” she said.

Earlier this month, Jones returned to the “Today” show in a pre-taped interview, admitting that her “heart still hurts” after Ojeh’s passing.

In late 2024, Jones took a mysterious leave of absence “to deal with a family health matter,” though she didn’t reveal her husband’s cancer battle.

Then in May, “Today” show host Savannah Guthrie announced that Ojeh had died “after a courageous battle with an aggressive form of brain cancer called glioblastoma.”

“There are no words for the pain we feel for Sheinelle and her three young children,” she emotionally shared. “Uche was an incredible person, and we all loved him.”

At the time, Jones addressed her fans via Instagram, writing in a brief statement, “Thank you, for all of your love and support. ❤️.”

When the TV host returned to work in September, she shared that she kept Ojeh’s cancer diagnosis a secret because he “was fiercely private” while she had chosen “the spotlight.”

The couple had been married since September 2007.
