Season 11 of Southern Charm is almost here as it’s been confirmed that the season has just wrapped up filming. Fans will again get to see what’s happening with OGs like Shep Rose and Craig Conover after both men went through tough breakups last season. There’s Madison LeCroy, who welcomed a daughter in June, and friends Austin Kroll, Venita Aspen, Rodrigo Reyes, and newbies Molly O’Connell and Salley Carson all returning to share updates on their lives.

Although details about the new reality TV season remain under wraps, fans can likely expect last year’s drama to resurface. In a recent interview, Shep even hinted that Season 11 might be the best one yet, with a few new faces also in the mix.

It’s hard to believe it’s been eleven years since Southern Charm first premiered on Bravo, introducing viewers to the glamorous, yet chaotic lives of Charleston socialites and those inbetween. Over the years, the show has seen friendships fall apart, relationships tested, and political scandals erupt. But, with plenty of cast shake-ups and storylines wrapping up, fans have started to question whether the series still has enough drama to keep going.

According to original cast member Shep Rose, that answer is yes. In a recent interview with Entertainment Now, Shep teased that Season 11 must just be the most interesting season yet, with new dynamics and even new faces.

“It’s always one of those things, just like, do we have any more meat on the bone, so to speak? And it turns out we do. It’s like, it’s never-ending bone.”

He continued, “It’s a really, really good season. I think it’s going to be fantastic … And then, you know, the usual shenanigans of the usual players still remain.”

During his conversation with the outlet, Shep also mentioned that fans will get to see a way more mature side of him — which at 45, is a long time coming. “So a little bit about this season, it’s like, ‘Oh, Shep’s all grown up.’ I mean, only took me 45 years, I guess—but yeah, that’s part of it,” he said. “I’m in a nice spot, and I’m very happy, and I’m tranquil.”

He also shared that while he “went out on a date last night,” the season will not only focus on Shep finding romance. “The things that make me happy don’t require a cell phone, by the way. Whether it’s in the ocean, surfing, whether it’s in a creek in Alaska, whether it’s, you know, in the outback of Australia—whatever. I just think exploring and scratching my adventurous itch, right? Is my thing.”

Shep Details Moving On From Sienna Evans After Season 10 Romance Fallout

Fans will remember Shep’s rocky dating experience last season when he attempted to spark a romance with Miss Bahamas, Sienna Evans. What started with potential quickly fizzled out, especially during the cast trip to her home country, where Sienna appeared noticeably uninterested in Shep, leaving him awkwardly trying to salvage a connection that just wasn’t there. While in the Bahamas, Shep professed his love to her but it wasn’t reciprocated. He left the country broken hearted.

However, Shep is someone who always manages to find the light at the end of the tunnel, and it seems he’s taken some lessons from that short-lived romance. While things didn’t work out with Sienna, the experience may have given him a new perspective on dating, or at least a better idea of what not to do. Discussing that relationship with the outlet, he said:

“It was tough. You know, I kind of had the rug pulled up from underneath me, and I thought I felt a certain way, and they felt the same way. And turns out that it’s not always. Life isn’t peaches and cream, right? Unfortunately, if everything worked out for us, what kind of life would that be? That’s not kind of life I like. I like adversity.”

Craig Conover Calls Season 11 “A Monster Season”

Craig Conover, who has appeared on Southern Charm since its humble beginnings, also shed some light on the upcoming season. Speaking with Interview Magazine, Craig called it a “monster season,” without diving into any detail, leaving fans strongly anticipating what’s to come.

“Season 11’s a monster season. Everyone’s going to be really excited,” he said. “I haven’t felt like this in a couple of years.”

Craig will be newly single in Season 11 following his split from Summer House star Paige DeSorbo in December 2024. The upcoming season could explore Craig’s fresh start as a bachelor, and fans may even get a glimpse of him dipping his toes back into the dating pool.

However, in his conversation with Interview, it seems that like Shep, he’s also staying busy with his passions, which include gardening and possibly opening up a wedding venue with Austen Kroll?

“Austen Kroll and I are opening a wedding venue in Charleston, even though we can’t stop fighting with each other all the time,” he shared, which fans have seen the two butting heads throughout Season 10. Craig also teased that many of the cast members will go through “new chapters,” and viewers can expect to follow new cast members, too.

Salley Carson Posts Teary-Eyed Photo After Wrapping Up Season 11

On July 17, Salley Carson — who joined the cast last season — may have hinted at some end-of-season drama when she posted a tearful selfie on her Instagram Stories, sparking speculation among fans. Wearing a yellow dress, it could have been the last event before filming wrapped, which fans all know usually results in the biggest feuds.

The song, “I’m a Survivor” by Reba McEntire can also be heard on her Instagram post. Meanwhile, Rodrigo Reyes also teased that the season would be a good one. Reposting a behind-the-scenes photo, he captioned it, “Survived SC11.” Throughout Season 10, Salley had feuded with Taylor Ann Green, after the two both dated Taylor’s current boyfriend, Gaston Rojas. However, with Taylor no longer a part of the show, fans may expect new drama coming Salley’s way.

In addition to Taylor, those who have chosen to not return to the show include Leva Bonaparte and Jarrett “JT” Thomas.

The premiere date for Southern Charm Season 11 is not yet known, but filming has wrapped. Fans can watch all 10 seasons on Peacock.
