Shep Rose would be happy if his ex-girlfriend, Taylor Ann Green, were to move on from their two-year relationship with Tom Schwartz, whose divorce from Katie Maloney was finalized earlier this month.
Months after his July split from Taylor, the Southern Charm cast member attended BravoCon, where he reunited with Taylor and the rest of his co-stars and reacted to Taylor’s crush on the Vanderpump Rules star, which she admitted to on an August episode on Watch What Happens Live.
“I love Thomas Schwartz—that would make me happy if she ended up with Thomas Schwartz,” Shep confirmed to E! News on Saturday. “I’m not a jealous man. We had a great, great time. If she ends up with a very good guy that makes her happy, that would make me happy.”
But during his own interview with E! News at BravoCon, Tom said that while “Taylor is drop-dead gorgeous, a 10 out of 10,” he’s “not even thinking about dating.”
“I’m embracing on being single, focusing on my career,” he explained.
While he was only joking when he said he’d been on a “four-month bender” of partying to cope with his split from Taylor, Shep admitted he’s “still sad” about their separation.

“It’s been very emotional and very hard,” he noted, adding that when it comes to dating, he’s no longer on dating apps.
“I am so technologically inept,” he revealed. “I haven’t been on Raya in a long, long, long time…Raya was like beautiful models. I was like, ‘Holy s–t.’ Not that they were reaching out to me, but I was like, ‘I’m at the cool party.’”
During a separate interview with Entertainment Tonight, Shep reflected on Taylor’s outburst at the recently-aired Southern Charm reunion, explaining that Taylor was deeply hurt by his potential relationships with other women.
“That kind of threw her into a bit of an emotional tailspin so that sucked and just sitting there, I was told by people that I love and trust, just like to, ‘Fall on the sword, buddy.’ And I was like, ‘You’re right. That’s the only way to do it,’” he shared, adding that Taylor “never did anything wrong.”
Shep went on to say that he “didn’t really have any ammunition to be angry about” and that he decided to take her claims against him “on the chin.”
“But then I watched her be a little irrational and that pained me, for her, because I do love her and I’ll always love her. I would cut off my arm if that meant she was happy,” he stated.
In a post shared to her Instagram Story after the reunion, Taylor admitted to “completely [losing her] grounding” at the taping, saying she was “speaking out of a lot of heartache.”
