During intense moments on “I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here!” that didn’t make it to air, Alex Scott was hurriedly taken to a medical tent. On Friday, November 28, 2025, the former England women’s football star became the first contestant to be eliminated from the latest season of the ITV reality show. Before her departure, The Mirror reported that Alex experienced a moment of panic after discovering a tick on her shoulder. In a recent interview following her exit, Alex recounted, “I was sitting next to Martin [Kemp] after carrying the logs and I felt something on my shoulder. I thought, ‘Oh, that’s a large spot.'”

She continued, “I asked Martin to take a look, and then Kelly jumped up, exclaiming, ‘It’s a tick.’ I started panicking as she insisted I needed medical attention. I was aware of ticks and leeches, but I never thought it would happen to me. They managed to remove it, but no one else experienced the same issue.”

Alex braved 14 days in the jungle before being voted out by the public.

Reflecting on her eviction, she shared, “Oh my days, it’s like being set free. It feels surreal. The experience was truly incredible, but mentally challenging. I struggled at times, missing home.”

She added, “I’m so grateful I got to participate alongside such an amazing group of campmates. The laughter, the humor, everyone just bouncing off each other—we really bonded, which I didn’t anticipate when entering the jungle.”

She has also spoken of her reaction when her girlfriend, Jess Glynne, didn’t appear on the famous bridge to meet her. Jess didn’t fly to Australia to support Alex because her mother recently had a stroke.

Instead of Jess, Alex’s close friend Regan Coleman was waiting, as the two women shared an emotional hug. According to The Mirror, they reported that Alex debated whether she should pull out of the show due to Jess’s mum, but in the end, her partner told Alex that she had to go to Australia.

Alex reportedly said: “It’s been a tough time for us and obviously her family, and it was a tough decision to come into the jungle, but then Jess never wanted me to step away from not doing it.”

“I knew there was always a possibility of her not being across the bridge, if her mum hadn’t got better, or if things had been getting worse, which they have been.

“But it was a big decision for me to not pass this opportunity, and Jess was the one that pushed me to be here. […] My first thought when I didn’t see Jess on the bridge was that I needed to FaceTime and speak to her.”
