Taylor Frankie Paul and Doug Mason, who is rumored to be a winner from the now-canceled show “Bachelorette,” recently caught the public’s attention with a playful exchange on social media.
On Saturday, Mason posted a video on Instagram, where he sang along to his latest track. The clip also featured a duck casually strolling through a parking lot, adding a quirky touch to his post.
Paul joined in on the fun by commenting, “Awe I see what you did here 🦆,” acknowledging the amusing addition to Mason’s video.
Mason playfully responded with a series of emojis, “🧏🏻♂️🤷🏻♂️,” keeping the tone light and engaging.
Page Six reached out to both Mason and Paul for further comments, but has yet to receive a response.
Paul, 31, was announced as the lead for Season 22 of the “Bachelorette” in September 2025.
Though the ABC reality show was set to premiere on March 22, it was cancelled after a video of the “Secret Lives of Mormon Wives” star throwing chairs at her ex Dakota Mortensen during a 2023 domestic violence incident was leaked.
“In light of the newly released video just surfaced today, we have made the decision to not move forward with the new season of ‘The Bachelorette’ at this time, and our focus is on supporting the family,” the network told Page Six in a statement.
After ABC pulled the plug on Paul’s season, she exclusively told Page Six that she was “very grateful for ABC’s support as she prioritizes her family’s safety and security.
“After years of silently suffering extensive mental and physical abuse as well as threats of retaliation, Taylor is finally gaining the strength to face her accuser and taking steps to ensure that she and her children are protected from any further harm,” she told us.
Paul also said that she has “remained silent” about the alleged abuse she faced “out of fear of further abuse, retaliation, and public shaming.”
Mortensen recently filed for an order of protection against Paul, causing her to lose temporary custody of their 2-year-old son, Ever, following another alleged February 2026 incident.
The reality star is not allowed to see the toddler until the next hearing, which is scheduled for April 7.
Last week, Page Six exclusively reported that Paul did find love on “The Bachelorette” — but “it’s unclear” how that romance will play out due to the show’s cancellation.
Mason is believed to be the winner who captured Paul’s heart and proposed, with a source telling us that they “are still in touch, but it’s unclear what will happen now, that’s to be determined.”
After ABC canceled the show, the lifeguard spoke out in support of Paul, saying that her “moment was blocked.”
