Kyle Richards’ daughter Sophia Umansky has shared confronting clips of a “dramatic hair loss situation” she’s facing.

Taking to social media, Umansky, 25, shared clips via her TikTok account on Wednesday, April 30, that showed clumps of her hair around the shower drain and stuck to the wall.

“I am very lucky that I have so much hair, because at the rate that I’ve been losing hair, I’m gonna be bald in about a week,” Umansky said, adding that she noticed her hair loss coincided with the period she began taking weight loss medication four months earlier.

“I would say, like, maybe for the past three weeks to a month, I’ve noticed a dramatic hair loss situation,” the Buying Beverly Hills star said.

“I’m just going to show you a quick little video of what my hair loss looks like, and this is every day,” she added. “And you’re not even seeing the half of it.”

Umansky went on to state her hair loss situation is even worse than it looked like in the video because she was only showing the before-and-after effects of having a shower.

“I think it’s a direct result of rapid weight loss because of the medication, and not eating enough vitamins, protein, all that kind of stuff,” Umansky continued, adding that she didn’t think it was the result of the medication itself.

In order to try to counteract the hair loss effects, Umansky told her followers she was trying OMI hair growth peptides, taking collagen and Grüns vitamins.

Umansky is one of three daughters Richards shares with her ex-husband Mauricio Umansky. (Sophia has sisters, Alexia, 28, and Portia, 17.) Richards shares her eldest daughter Farrah, 36 with her previous ex, Guraish Aldjufrie.

Us Weekly confirmed in July 2023 that Richards and Mauricio had officially separated after 27 years of marriage.

“Kyle and Mauricio have been separated for a while, but are still currently living together,” a source shared with Us at the time, adding that the estranged pair “are amicable while they figure out the next steps.”

Richards later became emotional on-camera as she addressed their separation in an episode of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills that aired in March.

“I think about, ’How did we get here if we care about each other so much? How did we allow this to happen?’” Richards said in a confessional. “Everything we built. This is like the rug really being ripped out from underneath your feet. I did not expect my life to go in this direction.”
