Although the art gala adhered to a black-tie dress code, the atmosphere was tinged with a distinctly blue hue. The evening was as much about the Dodgers as it was about art and fashion.

At the Los Angeles County Museum of Art’s glamorous Art+Film Gala, the attention of celebrities and industry heavyweights was split between the gala’s proceedings and the intense Dodgers game. The event drew a crowd that included notable figures such as Leonardo DiCaprio, who shared a table with Disney’s Bob Iger, alongside other stars like Cynthia Erivo, Kaia Gerber, Cindy Crawford, Demi Moore, Demi Lovato, and Dustin Hoffman.

An insider at the Saturday night affair noted, “Hollywood’s elite were glued to the Dodgers game throughout the gala.” During the edge-of-your-seat Game 7, the room erupted in cheers, initially thought to be for the arrival of the meal, but in reality, it was the Dodgers scoring that ignited the applause.

The excitement reached a crescendo when the Dodgers clinched their second consecutive World Series title in extra innings, prompting another wave of cheers from the captivated crowd. This moment of victory added an unexpected layer of drama to an evening already filled with glamour and artistic celebration.

The room also erupted in cheers when the Dodgers won the game, and their second straight World Series, in extra innings.

The museum’s CEO and Wallis Annenberg Director, Michael Govan, reportedly exclaimed from the stage, “Go Dodgers!”

The event was presented by Gucci and raised $6.8 million for the museum.

“Black Panther” director Ryan Coogler was honored at the event, along with artist Mary Corse.

Eva Chow was co-chair with DiCaprio and Doja Cat performed, while the menu was created by Cote chef David Shim.

The room included a mix of artists, execs, film greats, TV stars, pop crooners and influencers such as Mark Bradford, James Turrell, George Lucas, Baz Luhrmann, Angela Bassett, Lorde, Tessa Thompson, “Wicked” director Jon M. Chu, Alix Earle, Paris Hilton, Elle Fanning, Salma Hayek, Joel Edgerton, Kerry Washington, Casey Wasserman and more.
