RHOM's Stephanie Shojaee Sparks Rumors of a Series Exit With Cryptic Posts About the Series and Where She "[Belongs]" After Reunion Taping

Stephanie Shojaee has some fans convinced that she won’t be returning to her full-time role on The Real Housewives of Miami for the series’ upcoming eighth season.

After taping the reunion special earlier this month, and amid her ongoing feud with co-star Alexia Nepola, 58, Stephanie, 40, posted a couple of messages to her Instagram Story in which she reflected on her decision to join the cast and spoke of where she belongs.

“Did Steph quit???” a fan asked on Reddit, along with screenshots of Stephanie’s recent posts. “She’s been posting some weird IG stories lately… but these seem very cryptic and seems like she’s quitting? I may be reading into it too much, but what do you all think?”

In Stephanie’s first post, which saw her on a boat with the wind blowing her hair, she wrote, “‘Join Miami Housewives’ they said…’you’ll be fine’… they said.”

A short time later, along with a photo of herself in a pantsuit that was initially shared by her company, Shoma Group, she added, “Shoma is where I belong.”

Stephanie Shojaee Sparks Rumors She's Quit RHOM

Although some felt that the messages indicated that Stephanie would be moving on from RHOM and focusing on her business, others suggested that she wouldn’t quit the show, especially since it benefits her business.

“I doubt she would quit – she wants the business promotion and the deals she can get from the show,” someone stated.

Another reasoned that Stephanie would only leave the cast if something had gone down at the reunion that she couldn’t recover from.

“I could see her ‘quit’ before not getting asked back. If the reunion went bad she may be trying to save face,” they suspected.

Then, after a third commenter mentioned that Stephanie was “far from” a flop and said they’d like to see her on another season, someone else suggested that her cryptic posts were nothing more than a “PR stunt” for attention.

During an interview with Entertainment Tonight last month, Stephanie admitted that while filming season seven was “so much fun,” it also felt like a “rollercoaster.”

“I think it’s been one of the hardest things I’ve ever done in my life. No joke,” she added.

Weeks later, after a fan on Instagram asked her if she would be featured on season eight, Stephanie stayed mum.

“Let’s concentrate on season [seven], and making sure it’s the best season and most watched! I think the fans of the show should post more and make RHOM way more popular than it is,” she replied.

The Real Housewives of Miami season seven airs Thursdays at 9/8c on Bravo.
