After captivating audiences in theaters earlier this year, Billie Eilish’s latest concert tour film is now set to captivate streaming audiences.

Titled “Billie Eilish – Hit Me Hard and Soft: The Tour,” this electrifying film debuted on Paramount+ today, August 6, and is available for all subscribers to enjoy.

The concert film features a lineup of Eilish’s most popular songs, including chart-toppers like “Bad Guy,” the evocative “Birds of a Feather,” “Chihiro,” and her Oscar-winning hit for the “Barbie” soundtrack, “What Was I Made For?”

Joining forces in the director’s seat, Eilish co-directed the live performance recording with none other than James Cameron, renowned for directing three of the top-four highest-grossing films ever: “Avatar,” its sequel released in 2022, and the iconic “Titanic” from 1997.

Filmed over four spectacular nights in Manchester, England, the project was the subject of Eilish’s on-stage musings, as she hinted at the recording during one of the live shows.

The film also features some behind-the-scenes moments with Eilish. Paramount+

“So you may have noticed that there are more cameras than usual in here,” she said. “Basically, I can’t say much about it but what I can say is that I’m working on something very, very special with somebody named James Cameron and it’s going to be in 3D.”

On a January episode of The Hollywood Reporter’s Awards Chatter podcast, Cameron further explained how the project came together.

“[Eilish] thought it was a cool idea, and so I offered her co-directing with me because she’s the architect of that show,” he explained. “If you see that show, it’s astonishing. It’s so beautiful, and it’s such a great platform for her, and I wanted to shoot it in 3D. I just thought it’d be fun.”
