Israeli socialite Hofit Golan, aged 40, shared dramatic footage from her hotel balcony in Dubai, capturing rockets and explosions hitting the vicinity. She had arrived in the city just hours prior. On Instagram, Golan wrote, “After being briefed from my flights as the skies closed over us, I came home to see the Palm filling up with smoke! I can see rockets and explosions from my balcony!” Meanwhile, Vicky Pattison assured that she and her husband, Ercan Ramadan, are “safe and trying to stay calm” amidst the airstrikes. The couple had arrived in Dubai earlier this week after enjoying a luxurious first-class Emirates flight, but their beach relaxation was cut short as they had to seek shelter.
Pattison explained, “Ercan and I were scheduled to fly to Sydney this evening. However, like many others, our flight was canceled, and we are now effectively stuck in Dubai.” She continued, “We’re receiving numerous messages from people checking on us, and we are okay. Currently, we are in our hotel and have been assured of our safety,” as reported by the Mirror.
She acknowledged the alarming situation, saying, “We are aware that what is happening is frightening, and I also know there are many videos on social media that are understandably worrying. I’m not sure what else to add, other than we are doing our best to remain calm, avoid spreading unconfirmed stories, and are thinking of everyone who feels unsettled and unsafe right now.”
Laura Anderson, a popular figure from Love Island, reassured her fans that she and her two-year-old daughter Bonnie are “fine” after their early Saturday morning arrival in Dubai.
Anderson posted, “Horrendous situation. Bonnie and I are fine.”
Fellow Love Islander Arabella Chi is also close to the blast sites. Petra Ecclestone and husband Sam Palmer, who moved to Dubai with their children, remain stuck in the UAE.
