Summer House fans were immediately transported back to Season 5 after seeing Kyle Cooke “rage text” Paige DeSorbo over former castmate Hannah Berner and her then-boyfriend Craig Conover in a heated moment in Season 9.

Kyle’s anger towards Paige and her acquaintances made Paige and Amanda Batula nervous because it was reminiscent of the blow-out they had in the early seasons when Kyle and Amanda stopped being friends with Hannah. A snag between friends was bad enough to alter the friend group tremendously. So much so, Paige is still stuck between Amanda and Hannah. However, years later, it looks like it may be time to bury the hatchet.

Will We Ever See Amanda Batula, Paige DeSorbo, and Hannah Berner Again?

On a March 2025 episode of Watch What Happens Live, Amanda Batula shed some light on her former friendship with Summer House castmate, Hannah Berner.

She most recently reached out to Hannah to send her wishes after she was in a skiing accident. And when asked if she had ever gone to Paige DeSorbo and Hannah’s live show of their podcast, Giggly Squad, Amanda explained she hadn’t — not out of spite — but out of respect for Hannah.

“I don’t know if we’ll ever get to that point,” Hannah explained.

With Amanda open to a possible reconciliation, what about Hannah? As of the publication of this article, Hannah has stayed pretty quiet about Amanda but hasn’t shied away from her issues with Amanda’s husband.

Here’s Where Things Went Wrong Between Kyle Cooke and Hannah Berner

• Hannah and Kyle met in Season 1 of Summer House.
• Off the bat, the two bickered over their differences. Kyle hated that Hannah never helped clean the house, and Hannah thought Kyle was too bossy.
• It was a battle of the egos.
• Things worsened with Hannah’s power struggle with Kyle when she was disinvited from his and Amanda’s wedding.
• Hannah openly talked about Kyle cheating on Amanda.
• Kyle and Amanda own Loverboy, a line of hard teas, so when Hannah teamed up with a competitor, Truly, all bets were off for a potential friendship between Kyle, Hannah, and Amanda.
• Shortly after teaming up with Truly, Hannah was fired from Summer House.
• Hannah blames her departure from the show on her feud with Kyle.

Kyle has since vehemently denied being the reason behind her firing and is tired of the narrative. “Hannah’s gone on a podcast talking s*** about me and [Loverboy] and says publicly that I got her fired,” Kyle told Carl Radke in an episode of Summer House (via Bravo).

While Amanda is open to a potential friendship with Hannah, the tension between her and Kyle is still incredibly apparent, signaling it may be too soon for a reconciliation.

Where Are Amanda Batula And Hannah Berner Now?

Summer House’s Amanda Batula and Hannah Berner may no longer be friends, but they both remain best friends with Paige DeSorbo. Paige has been able to remain in the middle and stay friends with both women, separately.

After Kyle rage texted Paige in Season 9 over Hannah’s comments on a recent podcast, she told her castmate Ciara Miller: “He’s so lucky he’s married to the woman he’s married to, because it’s the only reason I don’t go up one f*****g side of him and down the other.”

Amanda and Paige are later seen crying to each other because they don’t want another rift in their already shattered friend group over issues with Kyle. The women promised to keep the issues outside their friendship so that history wouldn’t be repeated.

Since leaving Summer House, Hannah’s career skyrocketed. She became a stand-up comic and wound up getting her own Netflix Special. Hannah also teamed up with Paige for their popular podcast, Giggly Squad. They most recently completed a national tour, wrote a book, and hosted Vanity Fair’s Oscars red carpet.

Meanwhile, it took Amanda some time to find out what she was passionate about outside of filming Summer House. In Season 8, viewers saw Amanda torn over working for Loverboy and starting her own brand. She felt like she had no identity outside of Loverboy and her husband.

“My whole identity has become him and what he does,” Amanda said in a Season 8 episode, via Bravo. “Even when I started the show, I did not want to be front and center, so I kind of hid behind Kyle in his shadow. Because of that, I was sort of treated that way. I kind of became a part of Kyle … When I quit my job and was working for Loverboy, you know, I’m working for him. Everything was surrounding him.”

Kyle did not want her leaving the company. Instead, she took a small step back where she still works for Loverboy but has found a passion project: designing her own swimsuit line.

Called Amanda Batula Swim, the line features unique swimsuits and t-shirts that Amanda designed herself. She teamed up with the retailer South Moon Under to make her dream a reality. “I had quite a few brands and companies and people reach out, but something about South Moon [Under] stuck out,” she shared. “I love the team. And they just were really excited for me and really believed in me…You want a team that has your back,” she said to Bravo.

For now, she’s taking one step at a time with her designs and doesn’t want to “bite off more than I can chew.”

With both Amanda and Hannah’s personal and business lives expanding in positive directions, it’s unknown if there’s time to reconcile the friendship. For now, however, at least both women are open to the idea.
