Summer House Season 9 kicked off with Lindsay Hubbard shocking her Hamptons housemates with her pregnancy. Despite being pregnant, Lindsay made it to the summer house every weekend to party with her friends Kyle Cooke, Amanda Batula, Paige DeSorbo, Ciara Miller, and even her ex-fiancé, Carl Radke.
Lindsay began seeing a man named Turner Kufe shortly after her engagement to Carl ended. A few months into dating, she announced her pregnancy, but she continued to keep her relationship with the doctor out of the public eye. Lindsay and Turner welcomed their daughter, Gemma Kufe, in December 2024. However, the reality TV star recently shared a surprising update about the current state of their relationship, and revealed that things have been that way for quite some time.
Lindsay Hubbard Announces Major Relationship Update With Turner Kufe At The Summer House Reunion
Lindsay Hubbard revealed some very shocking news to her castmates during part two of the Summer House reunion. Not only did she bring her daughter, Gemma Kufe, to the reunion to meet all of her Hamptons housemates, she revealed that she and her boyfriend, Turner Kufe, put their relationship “on pause” just five months after she gave birth to their daughter.
“We put our romantic relationship on pause for now,” she said. “We are just focused on being the best parents that we can possibly be to Gemma. We are co-parents. We are an amazing team.”
When Kyle Cooke wanted to know more details about the exact timeline of their split, the Summer House cast were in shock when Lindsay admitted that she and Turner ended things “a few months ago.” In fact, she revealed that during the Summer House premiere party in February, she and Turner were not together, despite going to the event together.
“We’ll see what happens in the future. But as of right this second, I think there’s a lot for us to figure out when it comes to parenting, coparenting, my lifestyle, me being public, him being private. It’s too much at once.”
Despite the two no longer being romantically involved, Lindsay shared with host Andy Cohen and her cast that Turner would spend the night “half the week” at her apartment to help raise Gemma. “We are like, the best of friends,” she shared. “Even on the weekends, when we don’t have our nanny and it’s just the two of us tag-teaming being parents, we’re out to brunch, we’re going to visit friends.”
Lindsay shared that Turner was a very private person and respected his decision not to appear on the show or even in photos on social media. Her big TV personality and his private life appeared to be a big reason why the two may have called it quits. “It’s a struggle, you know. Dad is private, Mom is public, and what does that make baby?”
Lindsay and Turner reconnected in December 2023, just a few months after Carl ended their engagement on camera for Season 8. Lindsay went public with Turner in January 2024 and in April, she learned she was pregnant. Their daughter, Gemma, was born in December, with the reality star making waves that she and Turner chose not to live together during her pregnancy because of how fast their relationship was moving.
Will Lindsay Return To Summer House Season 10?
Following the conclusion of Summer House Season 9, rumors have circulated about a possible cast shakeup. Many of the cast members are now well-established in their careers and may no longer have the time or desire to spend every weekend partying in the Hamptons. With Lindsay now a mom, fans are also questioning whether her time on the show has come to an end.
During the Season 9 reunion, Lindsay hinted that she would be back for the tenth season of the show, but in a limited role. “I’ll be out there. I don’t know if I’ll be living at the house every weekend. I have a small baby at home,” she shared.
Lindsay also elaborated on her future on the show (which she has been a part of since the very first season), during an Amazon Live in April.
“I’m not an executive at Bravo who makes these ultimate decisions. But here’s the thing – I’m a new mom, I have a baby. This summer she’ll be anywhere between [six and nine] months, and I can’t exactly bring Gemma to go party at a share house every weekend of the summer. That’s just not feasible, and it’s not what I want for either of us.”
“I do think that we do a lot of filming in the city, and I will be out in the Hamptons a lot just because I’ve always been a Hamptons girlie.”
In fact, several Bravo fans believe that Lindsay would be a perfect fit for The Real Housewives of New York City. In the same interview, she shared that she would be open to being an apple holder.
“I would consider any and every opportunity that Bravo has for me. I love the network and have a good relationship with them,” she shared. “I hope they feel the same way, and anywhere they want to put me I am available. Just call me, you have my number.”
Is Anyone Leaving Summer House After Season 9?
Fans might not be too surprised to learn that Paige DeSorbo is out for the tenth season of Summer House. In a June Instagram Story, Paige gave a “little life update” that she made the decision to leave the show after five seasons.
“I have a little life update for you: I’ve made the decision not to return to Summer House,” she began. “Being part of this show has been one of the most rewarding chapters of my life — the friendships, the drama, the giggles. All unforgettable. But, like all good things (and some bad decisions), it’s time for this chapter to close.”
Paige’s career has skyrocketed recently. She co-hosts a hugely successful podcast with former Summer House star Hannah Berner, which led to a nationwide podcast tour. The duo are now best-selling authors after releasing their book, How To Giggle.
Before Paige announced she was leaving the show, Season 9 newbie Lexi Woods also shared that she would not be returning to the show. Lexi’s storyline heavily followed her relationship with housemate Jesse Soloman. However, she ended their relationship shortly before the summer ended.
“Well… That wasn’t the summer I signed up for but it definitely taught me a lot. I stood up for women and for what’s right. Even when it wasn’t easy and I’d do that again in a heartbeat.”
“I’m leaving Summer House with no regrets (well… maybe one 😉),” she continued, referring to Solomon, 31. “I’m proud of the way I handled myself, proud of what I walked away from, and even prouder of what I’m walking toward. Big things are coming! Stay tuned! 💋✨”
Interestingly, a departure announcement by OG Summer House star Carl Radke was also circulating online. However, Carl claimed that the reports were faked and that he would be back for Season 10.
“I look forward to spending the summer in the Hamptons with my friends,” he told Us Weekly. “I will very much be a part of Season 10!”
