This follows the upcoming Care Bears Night on March 11, where one more contestant will be unmasked. As a result, after these two episodes, only five contestants will proceed to the semi-finals on March 25, culminating in a two-hour season finale on April 1.

According to a FOX press release shared by The Futon Critic, the next Masked Singer season 14 double elimination will occur on Star Trek Night on March 18. This episode follows Care Bears Night on March 11, during which one contestant will be eliminated. This means that, after these two episodes, just five contestants will advance to the semi-finals on March 25, followed by the two-hour season finale on April 1.

The number of Masked Singer contestants competing in the season 14 finale hasn’t been announced yet, but season 13 had four: winner Gretchen Wilson (Pearl), runner-up Andy Grammer (Boogie Woogie), third-place finisher Meg Donnelly (Coral), and fourth-place finisher Brian Kelley (Mad Scientist Monster).

This will be the third double elimination of The Masked Singer season 14. During the Premiere, both David Ortiz (Googly Eyes) and Croissants (Todd and Julie Chrisley) were eliminated, while, on Clueless Night, Tone Lōc (Handyman) and Taraji P. Henson (Scarab) were sent home. Taraji later returned to the show as a guest panelist on Spice Girls Night.

What To Expect From The Masked Singer Season 14 Star Trek Night

The Masked Singer season 14 Star Trek Night will celebrate the beloved science fiction franchise’s 60th anniversary. According to the FOX press release, the episode will have “intergalactic costumes and special outer space-themed songs and performances.” A Masked Singer Instagram post previewed the iconic Star Trek Night costumes, which include Ken dressing as Mr. Spock and Robin wearing a Captain Pike outfit. In addition, Rita wore a Star Trek-themed jumpsuit and the Men in Black were Klingons.

The Masked Singer season 14 Star Trek Night will be an out-of-this-world episode. With a double elimination so close to the finale, there’s a lot at stake. The remaining contestants–14 Karat Carrot, Cat Witch, Crane, Galaxy Girl, High Voltage, Pangolin, Pugcasso, and Stingray–are all so talented that it’s going to be hard to say goodbye to any one of them. The Masked Singer season 14 just might be the best yet.

The Masked Singer airs Wednesdays at 8 p.m. ET on FOX.
