After all, when fans don’t know things like who was medically evacuated first and which players refused to return to the show, they get to watch the show’s best seasons for the first time. Once fans of Jeff Probst’s beloved reality show have been around long enough to be able to rank the winners, they will know that some players are considered the best ever.

Of course, Parvati Shallow is widely considered to be one of the best people to ever compete on Survivor. With that in mind, Libby Vincek Petrucci explained how she felt to have been compared to Parvati when she was exclusively interviewed by TheThings.

Survivor’s Libby Vincek Petrucci Was Shocked To Be Compared To Parvati Shallow

In April 2025, TheThings journalist Matthew Thomas interviewed Libby Vincek Petrucci about her Survivor experience. During that conversation, Libby was asked about the fact that her former tribemate Domenick Abbate compared her to Parvati Shallow.

Since Parvati is widely considered to be one of the greatest Survivor players ever, it was fascinating that Domenick called Libby “Parvati 2.0” during Survivor: Ghost Island.

While speaking exclusively to TheThings, Libby described how she reacted when she watched the show and saw Domenick compare her to Parvati.

From there, Libby went on to comment about whether she played like Parvati, as Domenick suggested she did.

Libby Vincek Petrucci Doesn’t Think She Played Survivor Like Parvati Shallow

Throughout Parvati Shallow’s Survivor tenure, she became known for her strategic skills, her willingness to betray people, and the way she flirted with people. While talking to TheThings, Libby Vincek Petrucci disputed the idea that she ever flirted with her tribemates to get ahead in the game in a way that was similar to Parvati.

To be clear, while Libby disputed that she played like Parvati, that didn’t mean she was judging the Survivor legend in any way.

Instead, Libby exclusively told TheThings that she wished she played like Parvati did.

“Parvati, I honestly wish I played more like her. But, like, there were so many things that I was like, no.”

Libby went on to elaborate on how strange she found it that Domenick Abbate compared her to Parvati. That said, Libby explained that she and Domenick are still close years after they played together. “So that was a very odd description of me. But if that’s how he saw me, that’s how he saw me. And, like, we’re still great friends, so it’s not a big deal.”

Notably, Libby told TheThings about a theory she had that could explain why Domenick compared her to Parvati. During her April 2025 interview, Libby suggested that her female tribemates may have put that idea in Domenick’s mind.

“I honestly think that it’s more of the girls that we played with putting that in Dom’s ear because they were working with him, and I didn’t know it.”

Alternatively, Libby also told TheThings that Domenick could have made the statement comparing her to Parvati to make their tribemates view her as more of a threat.
