The news comes just hours after the FBI released black-and-white photos and surveillance footage from Nancy’s home that showed a masked individual with an apparent stored gun in their waistband seemingly trying to break a camera by Nancy’s front door.

FBI Director Kash Patel later addressed the footage in a statement via X, writing, “New images in the search for Nancy Guthrie. Over the last eight days, the FBI and Pima County Sheriff’s Department have been working closely with our private sector partners to continue to recover any images or video footage from Nancy Guthrie’s home that may have been lost, corrupted, or inaccessible due to a variety of factors – including the removal of recording devices. Her husband, Michael Feldman, also spoke out in light of the released images. “Someone out there may recognize this person,” Feldman, 57, wrote via his own Instagram account. “Please help us. Bring her home.”

Later on Tuesday, a report published by People revealed that officials from both Pima County Sheriff’s Office and the FBI “were seen searching the neighborhood” of Savannah’s sister, Annie Guthrie, and “asking neighbors questions.” (Nancy is the mother of daughters Savannah and Annie as well as son Carmon Guthrie.)

An additional report by TMZ alleged that TMZ had “seen activity for the first time in the Bitcoin account listed in the first ransom note” that had been sent to them. The report noted that the amount would not be revealed “for various reasons,” but the activity allegedly took place at around 4:00 PM PT.

Nancy was reported missing by a family member who called 911 on February 1. She was last seen one day prior by Annie, as confirmed by Us Weekly the following day, after Annie and her husband, Tommaso Cioni, dropped Nancy to her home following a January 31 family dinner.
