Sutton Stracke Reveals Convo She Had With Garcelle on the Day She Announced She Was Quitting RHOBH, Apologizes for Hurting Her Feelings & Addresses Unfollowing

Sutton Stracke reacted to Garcelle Beauvais unfollowing her, and she revealed a conversation they had on the day Garcelle announced she was quitting The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. The 53-year-old also apologized for hurting Garcelle’s feelings.

For many years on the show, Garcelle defended Sutton, sometimes to a fault. Castmates have accused Sutton of proverbially kicking women when they’re down, and Garcelle often had her back, though she sometimes called her out for stepping over the line.

At the latest reunion, Garcelle’s co-stars accused her of implying that Dorit Kemsley’s husband, PK Kemsley, had something to do with their gunpoint robbery. Sutton, it seemed, didn’t defend her and was more interested in protecting her friendship with Kyle Richards. Garcelle later announced her resignation, and she unfollowed every main cast member, including Sutton.

On Radio Andy‘s Jeff Lewis Live, Sutton was asked about Garcelle unfollowing her.

“I do not pay attention to if somebody’s followed me,” said Sutton. “I wouldn’t even know how to do that.”

One host pointed out that Garcelle chose to keep following Kathy Hilton and Jennifer Tilly.

“Who are not full-time, by the way,” interjected Sutton, who emphasized that she and Garcelle were “very” close.

“[Garcelle and I] spoke the day that she made her announcement,” said Sutton. “She just said … ‘I couldn’t talk to anybody because I knew that you would convince me not to leave.’ Like, yeah, that’s probably true.”

Jeff then shared his perception that Garcelle was “most hurt” by Sutton.

“I’m sorry for that,” Sutton stated. “I would never want to hurt Garcelle intentionally, so I’m sorry that she feels that way, and I’m sorry that it went down like that. I hope that I can rectify things later … Sometimes I think when [you’re] really close with someone and you get hurt in the relationship, sometimes you need some time away to heal, and I’m hoping that we can rectify and fix everything.”

“I think that down the road, Garcelle and I just need to have a really long, thoughtful conversation that’s private,” she said. “I hate that this has happened. Garcelle was a very good friend, and I love her dearly.”
