Sydney Sweeney may be taking steps toward joining Scooter Braun’s faith.
Page Six hears that Sweeney and Braun’s relationship has grown serious enough for them to discuss starting a family. That conversation is reportedly prompting “The Housemaid” star to seriously consider converting to Judaism.
“The couple is discussing having their own family and Scooter feels strongly on the subject,” a source says.
Earlier this month, we reported that Braun was planning to propose within the next six months.
Sweeney was also recently seen attending Rosh Hashanah services with the music mogul at Temple Sholom in Greenwich, Connecticut.
“They sat in the back,” says a witness who spotted the pair at the synagogue. The congregation includes Mayim Bialik, along with prominent financiers Mark Shenkman, Steven Tananbaum, Cliff Asness and Andrew Milgram.
Although online tip site DeuxMoi first reported that Sweeney was considering conversion, we’re now told that she is seriously exploring the possibility.
A source tells Page Six that the A-list actress has already met with two rabbis.

Conversion can take between one and four years. The process involves intensive study and requires the guidance of a sponsoring rabbi.
A source previously told us that Braun views Sweeney as “the modern Marilyn Monroe.”
In addition to both being recognized as sex symbols, Monroe converted to Judaism after marrying her third husband, playwright Arthur Miller.
We hear that Braun is determined to make the relationship permanent.
“He is trying very hard to marry her,” a source told us earlier this month. “He is following her and chartering private planes. He’s going to stay focused on her until she marries him.”
On Sept. 12, Braun shared an affectionate birthday tribute to Sweeney, describing her as “the person who surprised me and showed me how life with true partnership can be lived.”
“You make me smile harder, laugh louder, adventure more, and dream bigger,” he wrote. “You’ve made the ordinary feel exciting and the future feel like something I can’t wait to get to.”
The couple recently vacationed with a group at Lake Powell in Utah.
Representatives for Sweeney and Braun could not be reached for comment.
