Tamra Judge has recently opened up about the aspects of her personality that remain unseen on the “Real Housewives of Orange County.” Her remarks have sparked a response from Alexis Bellino, who claims her own portrayal on the show was skewed, hinting at hidden facets of her storyline that viewers never saw.

Critics of Tamra have long scrutinized her behavior on the series, often accusing her of manipulating situations and gaslighting her fellow cast members and viewers regarding her past actions. In the previous season, she repeatedly insinuated that Shannon Beador struggled with alcoholism, and this season, she criticized Shannon for her inability to let go of grudges.

Alexis, too, has faced her share of backlash. Last year, she defended her then-boyfriend, John Janssen, amid his legal battle with his ex, Shannon. This defense led some to accuse Alexis of being insensitive to Shannon’s situation, possibly due to a lack of understanding of their relationship’s history. Alexis and John have since married.

Discussing her portrayal on the Twot Seat podcast, Tamra remarked, “With reality TV, they’re going to show your strongest personality, and mine just happens to be, ‘F**k you! F**k you!’ It’s worked—longest-running housewife. Not proud of it…but you know, that’s what they show. Do they show other sides of me? No.”

“With reality TV, they’re going to show your strongest … personality, and mine just happens to be, ‘F**k you! F**k you!’” said Tamra on her Twot Seat podcast. “It’s worked, longest-running housewife. Not proud of it … but you know, that’s what they show. Do they show other sides of me? No.”

“Do they show me checking in on my friends and all … and being a good mom? No,” she continued. “But you know, I’ve accepted it. I took that villain role seventeen years ago.”

Alexis added, “Yeah, man. They just planted that hat on you. And guess what role I took, Tamra? The ditz. Even though I’m coming in with words y’all don’t know … They don’t want to show my Bachelor’s degree side.”

Tamra said she thinks the show made a “huge mistake” by not bringing Alexis back: “I think that it was the Shannon of it all. If you came back in different circumstances, you would still be on the show.”

Alexis stated, “If I would have came back … and John Jansen was not in my vocabulary … or even if I would have just gotten a little bit better of not such a skewed storyline, I think America could have liked me and would have liked me.”

New episodes of The Real Housewives of Orange County air Thursday nights on Bravo.
