The ever-dynamic Tamra Judge addressed the latest tensions with Jennifer Pedranti and Heather Dubrow on Thursday night’s installment of Watch What Happens Live. This episode found Tamra reflecting on the fiery confrontations from The Real Housewives of Orange County and evaluating the claims around her friendships, stirring viewer interest.
Fifty-eight-year-old Tamra unpacked why she doubted forty-nine-year-old Jenn’s allegations about fifty-seven-year-old Heather’s comments regarding their alliance. Meanwhile, she also tackled Shannon Beador’s biting “Dos Amigas” jab and delved into conflicts surrounding her podcast drama with fellow castmate Emily Simpson, aged 50. Additionally, Tamra hinted at her misgivings about some choices she made on the show, even recounting a memorable escapade with Shannon at The Quiet Woman.
When questioned whether she felt Jenn had twisted Heather’s words about their camaraderie during the July 16 broadcast of WWHL, Tamra concurred, “Watching it back, yeah.”
She then explained how she was able to remain calm amid the dispute over how close she and Heather actually were.
“Because I absolutely love Heather. And we’ve been friends for, historical friends for many, many years. She was in my wedding. And Jen and I have had a rocky friendship, and when Jen told me this, we weren’t in the greatest place, so I thought, let me think about this because this is my friend Heather and I don’t think Heather would do that,” she reasoned.
As for the suggestion that Heather changed her personality based on who she was with, Tamra didn’t deny it, but clarified that she didn’t “think it’s a bad thing.”
“I think that Heather is very sensitive, and she gets her feelings hurt very easily, so she wants people to love her,” she explained.
Moving on to Shannon, Tamra said she wasn’t too bothered by her co-star suggesting that two amigas were better than three.
“We weren’t exactly in a good place at the time. We’re in a much better place now, and I love Shanon, and I’m just — the past two years I’ve been working towards having a better relationship and getting back to where we were,” she shared.
Tamra then defended her podcast drama with Emily, stating that there’s “a lot of confusion” among fans.
“When you have a podcast on my network, your podcast goes out to all my subscribers, and I have 100 million, me and [Teddi Mellencamp] have 100 million downloads. So when you come onto my podcast, you’re getting that,” she explained.
Of the rest of her co-stars, Tamra said that Vicki Gunvalson, 64, had the worst taste in men, although she noted that Michael Smith was “amazing” and the “perfect guy for her,” and confirmed that she loved newbie Carmella Garcia, 43.
She also addressed Carmella’s claim about going home with Leonardo Dicarprio, 51, but not sleeping with him.
“Carmella’s very transparent. I think she would’ve told the truth,” she stated.
Also on the live broadcast, after saying she had “a thousand” regrets in regard to her time on RHOC, she spoke of her dinner with Shannon at The Quiet Woman, where Shannon allegedly had a meltdown over an unpaid bill.
“It was a great time,” Tamra confirmed. “We were great. [And] we had a two-hour conversation the night before.”
“It was a great time, and you and Shanon were great,” replied Andy Cohen, 58, who was also present.
Later, on the WWHL: After Show, Tamra admitted to being “so into” The Real Housewives of Atlanta before admitting that she was “upset” with Shamea Morton, 44.
“I’m upset with Shamea because I love her, but [Porsha Williams] is my girl because Porsha is a girls’ girl, and to lay that on her last episode, there’s no coming back from that. It wrecked me,” she explained, citing Shamea’s claim that Porsha’s mom, Diane Williams, attempted to sleep with her dad.
Then, after saying she loves the new girls of RHOA, stating that K. Michelle, 44, is “amazing” and Pinky Cole, 38, is “just great,” Tamra confirmed where her husband, Eddie Judge, 53, stands with Vicki following their past feud, which began amid questions surrounding his sexuality.
“Eddie’s moved on and we’ve had multiple dinners with Vicki and Michael, and we go to The Coto Club all the time,” she shared. “Eddie loves Michael, and he loves Vicki as well. I mean, it’s a TV show. Sometimes things get complicated.”
The Real Housewives of Orange County season 20 airs Thursdays at 8/7c on Bravo.
