Radio personality Tanya Rad is giving fans the inside scoop on what Taylor Swift was like at Selena Gomez and Benny Blanco’s wedding.
Rad, 38, described meeting Swift, 35, at the nuptials over the weekend during the Monday, September 29, episode of her “Scrubbing In” podcast with Becca Tilley. She revealed that her best friend Paulina Char met Swift at the wedding first and introduced Rad to the pop star by telling Swift that Rad had walked down the aisle to one of her songs.
“Well, actually, it was my first dance, and I walked down the aisle to it,” Rad recalled correcting Char, 30, with a laugh. “[Swift] was so kind. She, like, loved it. She asked me what song, and she was like, ‘That means so much.’” (Rad walked down the aisle and danced with husband Roby Yadegar to Swift’s “Invisible String” at their wedding in March.)
Rad continued of Swift, “I cannot explain to you how magical, regal, genuine, present, locked in, invested and normal [she was].”
The On Air With Ryan Seacrest cohost also joked that she “audibly gasped” when she saw Swift’s engagement ring from fiancé Travis Kelce. (The pair announced their engagement on August 26.)
A source exclusively confirmed to Us over the weekend that Swift was in attendance as Gomez, 33, and Blanco, 37, tied the knot in Santa Barbara, California, on Saturday, September 27. The “Cruel Summer” singer was also present at the rehearsal dinner the night prior, according to the insider.
Not only was Swift a guest at the wedding, but she also “gave an extremely heartfelt speech,” a separate source told Us on Monday.
“She went into depth and talked about how over the years she saw Selena on the floor crying, mentioning exes, Selena having a broken heart and saying how happy she is that Selena has Benny now,” the insider shared. “Taylor said it is a best friend’s dream for her best friend to find someone like Benny and is so happy for her.”

Swift and Gomez have been close ever since they met through their respective boyfriends in 2008 — Joe Jonas and Nick Jonas. Though neither relationship lasted, Gomez said on the “Therapuss With Jake Shane” podcast in August that her friendship with Swift was the “best thing” to come out of their Jonas Brothers romances.
In addition to Swift, Rad and Char, the 170-person guest list also included Gomez’s family from Texas, her Only Murders in the Building costars Steve Martin and Martin Short, Blanco’s inner circle and several other A-listers, a source exclusively told Us on Monday.
During the couple’s vows, the actress was “sobbing and crying so hard” and had everyone else in the room in tears, according to the insider.
The insider added that the decor was “very eclectic,” with Blanco having planned the wedding.
“It was very much his style and was similar to the decor in their Beverly Hills home,” the source continued. “He is very into design and loved doing it. They had rugs and carpet everywhere because Benny does not like to wear shoes.”
Overall, the insider noted, “The wedding was pretty simple and not your typical ‘celebrity’ lavish wedding. They both just wanted to dance and have fun, and you could feel so much love from them.”
Gomez confirmed that she and Blanco had tied the knot on Saturday by sharing photos from their big day via Instagram, including a snap of herself looking over her shoulder in her gorgeous Ralph Lauren dress and another of Blanco resting his head in his wife’s lap.
“🤍 9.27.25 🤍,” she captioned the post.
Blanco commented, “My wife in real life.”
