Taylor Ann Green will not be returning to Southern Charm for season 11.

In a statement shared to her Instagram page on Monday, Taylor, 30, who joined as a “friend” in 2020 for season seven and had been featured full-time in the seasons since, admitted she was feeling “heavy but peaceful” as she reflected on her time on the Bravo reality series and revealed what she was looking forward to in the future.

“Hi everyone! A bittersweet announcement; but after a lot of conversations and thought this past year, it is with a heavy but peaceful heart to announce that I will be stepping away from Southern Charm next year,” Taylor began on April 14. “These past 5 years with NBC and Bravo have been some of the most crazy but exciting times of my life. I will forever be thankful to the network, production teams, [Bravo] family and all the fans for ultimately cheering me on to where I am today.”

“[It was] a wild rollercoaster but an incredible one to say the least. I am so excited to use this time to focus on my new company, [Reset Athletic] and all the exciting things that my business partner and I have been working on to continue to bring our dream into reality,” she continued. “Thank you again to everyone who has loved and supported me throughout this journey and another grand cheers to the greatest ones out there.”

Taylor went on to thank NBC, Bravo, Haymaker East, and Andy Cohen, 56, “for an exceptional reality TV ride.”

Also with her post, Taylor included a clip from her March appearance on Nick Viall‘s podcast, The Viall Files, where she said she’d been busy with Reset Athletic and mentioned upcoming pop-ups in Baltimore, where her partner is located. 

“It’s been really fun and it’s kept me busy and we’ll see how it goes,” she shared.

Then, after someone mentioned that she should return to Southern Charm to promote her brand, Taylor replied, “I know, right?”

Taylor’s announcement comes just weeks after she admitted she may be better suited for a role on Southern Hospitality, the spinoff of her Southern Charm co-star, Leva Bonaparte, 45.

“I do actually hang out with those people. Those are people I’ve known for a very long time, even before they started Southern Hospitality. I knew [TJ Dinch] and [Bradley Carter] and [Emmy Sharrett] and [Will Kulp] and all of them, so it would make more sense,” she shared, also on The Viall Files.

No word yet on when production will begin on the upcoming 11th season of Southern Charm, or which cast members will be returning.
