Dakota Mortensen has accused his ex-partner, Taylor Frankie Paul, of physically assaulting him during a February incident that led to the temporary suspension of “The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives” filming.

According to a report dated February 23 from the Draper City Police Department in Utah, obtained by Page Six, a friend of Mortensen’s informed law enforcement that the reality TV personality had been assaulted by his former girlfriend.

Mortensen described to the police that he experienced “two incidents of physical assault,” which included actions such as grabbing, scratching, shoving, and hitting, as detailed in the report.

The document also notes that Mortensen was reluctant to report the incidents, citing concerns over his ex’s significant public presence. Police documented evidence of the altercation, including photographs showing scratches on Mortensen’s neck.

Mortensen and Paul had an on-again, off-again relationship from 2022 to 2024 and are parents to a 2-year-old son named Ever.

They’ve been involved in multiple domestic violence incidents.

Following “SLOMW” abruptly stopping filming earlier this month, Paul’s season of “The Bachelorette” was canceled after TMZ published video of their altercation in 2023.

In the disturbing video, Paul hurled metal chairs at Mortensen, while her 8-year-old daughter, Indy — who was 5 at the time — was heard crying nearby.

Paul was arrested over the 2023 incident and charged with three felonies — one count of aggravated assault and two of domestic violence in the presence of a child — as well as one misdemeanor count each of child abuse and criminal mischief.

She pleaded guilty to the aggravated assault under a plea deal that would reduce the charge to a misdemeanor if she abided by her three-year probation, and the other charges were dismissed.

The exes are also involved in a third domestic violence incident being investigated by the West Jordan Police Department.

“The West Jordan Police Department is currently investigating an incident involving Taylor Frankie Paul and Dakota Mortensen,” a spokesperson for the department told Page Six last week.

“The allegations were reported at the end of February 2026, and detectives have reviewed video believed to have been recorded in early to mid-2024.”
